The climate changes, if Humans are here are not, and separating out the Human contribution is more difficult that it appears. To where it seriously affects our environment which we are seeing. Its not good. Australia couldnt do controlled burnings to prevent wildfires because climate change shortened the period they were able to do so.
What we can say for sure is that CO2 levels have increased, and Humans played a part in some of that increase.
If the concept of the greenhouse gas theory is correct, Human increases in CO2 will cause exactly the same change in energy imbalance as natural change in CO2 levels,
roughly 3.71 Watts per meter squared. I have had trouble finding how they derived that number, but I think I know now.
Earth is claimed to be 33C warmer than it would be if the atmosphere were transparent, because of a total imbalance of 150 W m-2.
Of this 20% or 30 W m-2 is said to be from CO2.
Starting at 1 ppm, it would take 8.09 doubling s to get to 280 ppm. This would give each doubling a value of 30 W m-2/8.09=3.708 W m-2.
