These are very sad and depressing news although it's been going on for years now.

And they are killing also men for that family "Honor". Half a year ago, a brother of a famous Israeli Arab football player in the name of Walid Badir, was shoot in his leg because he dated some girl and later on refused to marry her. He was shoot by the family of the girl.

Selected testimonies from “A Question of Security”:

“He [my husband] used to beat me everywhere. He beat me with a rock on my leg … I never went to the hospital, and I didn’t even tell my parents. I was just thankful to be alive.”

If I recall correctly, the Israeli government estimates that an average of two to three Palestinian females are murdered each week for supposed crimes of 'zina' (forbidden sexual behavior). No reliable estimate is available for the number of Palestinian female suicides in this regard, but the number is considered to be surprisingly high.

Many governments and NGOs estimate a per annum rate of one female 'honor killing' per day in Pakistan.

This is a result of unrelenting islamic interference in the government of these countries.

Until these people learn to seperate church and state, they will NEVER grow as a people, a nation, or a culture.
