Has anyone heard from her? I noticed her last post was July 10. Which was just before the hostilities. Does anyone know if she is OK?

Hey, for someone who is not in my political camp, so to speak,Originally posted by Symmetrical_Argument
Only for Israel ?
Spoken like a true typical prejudiced religious person. I'll pray for the Lebanese too. The average Lebanese person is ten times as likely to be blown to bits by Israel.

The self-conscious virtue & piety in Deegan's statement indicates he purports to have a moral concience & some kind of religious faith, because he says 'pray for all of Israel'. His view is assymetrical for no good reason. Any true religious person would not generalise & condemn all 1000 Lebanese civilians killed as being unworthy of God's mercy or prayer, by only praying for Israel.CaptainCourtesy said:I know it's difficult for you robotic, propoganda spewing anti-Israeli fools to stay on topic, but let me try to help. This thread expresses concern for a member of this forum who lives in Israel; expressing hope that things are well in Israel, directly addresses hope that things are well with her.
Hope this helps clear things up as to the purpose of this thead, so you can take your predjudiced ramblings elsewhere.
My work is done here.

It's not anti something, it's called mature.
To criticize someone for doing so only shows the bias of the person who does.
Obviously even little bigots like you know terms like "basic human decency".Gardener said:... basic human decency ...

Those that allow themselves to be human shields make themselves military targets. Those that would use their people as human shields assume all responsibility for getting them killed.
Still skipping on that rainbow of love and harmony? Hezbollah, Hamas, Al-Queda, etc. and the millions and millions and millions of supporters around the ME don't skip and they are not interested in compromise. They are not interested in peace unless it is their peace - no matter who they have to kill and destroy to achieve it.

Unbelievable.

Try to practice it.
Kelzie said:Guys, I am perfectly aware that this is a debate site. I really am. But this thread is about concern for Tashah. Says so right in the title. There are literally dozens of threads out there now where you can call each other bigots and debate the innocence of the Lebanese people. Just a humble request though, from one human being to another, can we please keep this thread focused? Tashah's sister is a member and I'm sure she'll post news. In the meantime, maybe we could keep the discussion somewhere along the lines of well wishes for her safe return, instead of bickering. Think of it as something nice for her to come back to.

I offer my deep apologies for neglecting to let you know exactly why Tashah has been absent from Debate Politics for so long. I would also have replied to this thread sooner, but I have been in Haifa most of this past week assisting emergency first responders.
My sister requested to be activated and was assigned to the Northern Command. She has been in Lebanon now for a number of weeks. She messaged me a few days ago and blessed me with the knowledge that she is physically well.
Once again, I thank all of you for keeping Tashah in your thoughts and prayers. I will do my best to keep you updated.
Rav todot,
Shayah
