Haha...nope to the shot, she's been a teetotaller all her life. As in, I've never even had a drink in front of her...though don't let me paint her as a dictator zealot, it's out of love and respect that I don't partake in front of her. Her father was a vicious alcoholic, and she's a good Lutheran lady.
Peterson...ugh... You knew you lost me when you typed that, didn't you...
Well hug her anyway.
Tell her its from me...that'll perk her up for sure.
I knew the Peterson thing would get yer goad.
I bought his latest book for my kids for Christmas. Twin "B" has gotten through about half of it now, and commented that he likes it. That it makes sense to him.
Jordan Peterson isn't your enemy. He's fighting for you.
For your rights. For common sense. For rational thinking, in these irrational times.
haha...it didn't get my goat, bud. I do my best to put that fragile beast in lock up before chatting with you...cuz I know you want it so badly...
Jordan Peterson isn't my enemy, but he's not fighting for me either. He's a non-issue in my life. He may have some good ideas, I don't know - I only know his reputation, I've never delved too deeply, as I'm not really looking for a new philosophy at the moment. For me it's his choice of language that turns me off...when people start talking about SJW's and snowflakes, you can quickly deduce that they don't have anything new or interesting to say. But, everyone's gotta make a living, I guess...
I don't see him as PM material, though. All you have to do is look at the mess south of us to understand what happens when you pick a leader through prioritizing their willingness to flip off the folks you don't like. The last thing the world needs is more division.
To quote Quark from DS9 "So Bubbly and cloy and happy" but he's definitely lost some shine, as all politicians inevitably will, it's just the nature of things.
His monumental screw up on voting reform definitely lost him a lot of points with me, but weed legalization, while not perfect was a good campaign promise to keep.
Whether Andrew Scheer, a guy who looks like he screams sorry when he cums, is the guy to take him down in an actual election, is a whooooooooooole different story and I don't know much about Jagmeet Singh yet, could be a dark horse you never know, but if he does make any gains in the next elections, likely splitting the left vote, could end up with a Conservative minority government.
Who knows.
Two-faced liar. Disappointingly and myopically self-interested.
I'll never forgive him for abandoning electoral reform and turning down the recommendations of his own committee because he felt it to be politically expedient, nevermind his 1+ billion overpay for the Kinder pipeline.
