How will the Democrats attack Judge Barrett's nomination?

I'm concerned that Barrett will help overturn the ACA and RvW because of her religious views.

I think the SC has become too political and needs reform if it wants to remain credible.

They could start by quoting her verbatim on the Garland nomination where she said it was justified to wait because that seat was a pivotal conservative seat that would swing the court to the left. Just play the clip and ask her if she still believes that given she is replacing RBG. Just keep pounding it into her and make her explain herself.

No, it really doesn’t. I think what McConnell did was dirty pool, but it did not violate the Constitution from what I’ve read. Obama made his nomination as specified, but nowhere does it require his nominee will be approved.

Actually, the left is quite fond of Jesus's socialist teachings. Check out the Gospel of Mathew. The Redeemer is to the left of Bernie, for crying out loud! Aside from the sex stuff, what leftist could object?

Yes and no. GEtting her on the ACA wouln’t touch her religion. That would be Roe. And the GOP are going to do as much heavy lifting there as anyone else. Josh Hawley said he wants a roe-killer on the court, by god. And he’s gonna get one.

Yeah, he showed some compassion towards gays, divorced Catholics, atheists, the poor, even a transgender guy, sort of like Jesus might have. Who does he think he is, St. Francis, that other nut job?

tHAT IS THE PROBLEM. most rules are rules, not laws, so the right wing thinks rules are ONLY for Democrats.

It is known they didn't have the votes in the Senate - or the Senate could have ignored there being no hearings and confirmed the nomination anyway.

What happened is what has always happened. If the Senate is the opposing party in an election year, the nominee is rejected. If they are of the same party, the confirmation proceeds.

She's got a lot on her hands in the coming year. Should Democrats retake the Senate and the White House and keep the House, they'll be sure to give her four our six extra hands to assist her in the loaded docket to come.

She is white, religious, articulate, rational, and dedicated to interpreting the consitution how it was written and intended-- and therefore unwilling to subvert it to follow a different agenda. She is everything that scares a liberal progressive socialist anti patriotic anti God Democrat... like a bucket of water scares a witch, or the sunlight scares Dracula. Amy Barrett is the face of all that they hate. She represents everything they want to change America from being--and into something else. She isn't AOC, she isn't BLM/Antifa, she isn't Kamala Harris, she isn't Satan himself.

Not if she shows the same compassion and sense of justice Jesus showed in Mathew's gospel. But I fear that working people, women and the environment may suffer under her opinions.
