Trump is being ripped by democrats for his use of tariffs to level the playing field with respect to trade and to force countries to capitulate to things we want them to do. Democrats here on DP have begun screaming about recession and how the American people will suffer financial hardship as a result. So I did some looking to see what these tariffs would cost us Americans. Lol they amount to a 3 percent increase.

So these same democrats that want Trumps tax cuts to expire are crying over 3 percent. The tax cuts that save most folks 10 percent lol. The tariffs are raising prices and we will all suffer greatly they scream lol. Three whole percent. Yet not smart enough to understand that trumps tax cuts will reduce their income by 10 percent lol. You just can’t make this shit up.

As you can see this whole outrage from democrats leaders is nothing more than a show. They hate Trump and want him to fail and will do or say whatever necessary to achieve that objective. Even something as hypocritical and obvious as bitching about a 3 percent hike while pushing for a 10 percent hike.

Sad part is the democrats drones cackling here on DP aren’t able to figure out that they are being used and made to look completely hypocritical or ignorant.

This is also why it is so easy to destroy democrats in debate.
 
Honestly, why even pay attention to democrats? They are so predictable and all say the exact same thing and act in concert. As for this forum, you only need one neo-leftist to communicate the DNC propaganda, but there are well over 200 regulars all sucking the oxygen out of the room and making sure there is no debate, as it would challenge and debunk the DNC propaganda.

Your idol said prices would drop on Day One.

If you look at this from the bigger perspective, it is easy to see that the entire democratic party has evolved into the Anti-Trump Party because they really have nothing better to offer the people in terms of solutions. It's really hard to run on being the party of government waste and transgenderism. It's hard to run on being the insane warmongering party. Having absolutely nothing to offer the working people, the DNC pivoted to being the Anti-Trump Party and uses propaganda to get the minions overwhelmingly fired up about hating Trump instead of using critical thinking and introspection to examine the reality of their own party. It's all a clever diversion to keep what's left of the base; those mentally weak neo-leftists that are easily manipulated with propaganda.

Only an imbecile would believe that prices will drop after one day. An intelligent person understands that Trump was saying that he would work from day one on lowering prices. There is often pain before relief. Much better to hurt while headed to relief than democrats raising your taxes by 10 percent and only causing pain for pains sake.

If they really amount to a 3 percent increase, that's not bad. But you have to bear in mind that doesn't include Trump's other measures for the economy that he wants to push through, like the tax cuts and the energy increases. So a 3 percent increase caused by tariffs would likely be offset by price decreases from other causes. For instance, gas and egg prices are currently going down. And if you pay less taxes that also offsets inflation.

I don't think the effects of the tariffs are so easily predicted, however. What Trump wants is other countries to reduce their tariffs on us, giving us more access to their markets, and other countries building factories in the US (some of which has started), and also the extra income for the government which will reduce the deficit. How much of that will actually happen is up for debate, and is one reason that the stock market is uneasy at the moment. We are in a situation where it is difficult to predict the future, therefore the volatility.
 
I do believe logic like that is severely frowned upon here. This forum is not about debating politics, its purpose is to allow batshit insane neo-leftists to rage about Trump incessantly. And the last thing you are allowed to do here is actually tell the truth. You have to make up the wildest shit possible, like Trump killed the dinosaurs.
 
It’s even worse than that. They are the party that purposely flooded the country with illegals including killers, rapist, gang members, and drug dealers. The Biden administration was just caught fudging the number of deported immigrants. They counted many as deported, in an effort to pad their numbers, only to release them into the country.

They are the party of weakness and war.

They are the party of defunding police.

They are the party of defending Hamas activists terrorizing Jewish students on college campuses.

They are the party of men playing against women.

They are the party of the killing of innocent babies in the womb.

Pretty disgusting really.

As for us being idiots lol you voted for a guy who we warned you was demented. A guy who opened our border flooding the country with illegals. A guy who caused inflation which increased prices 20 plus percent. A guy who caused fuel prices to explode. A guy who led the Afghanistan debacle.
