How Trump Was Born From Our 9/11 Reaction

This an interesting mind set of the folks that oppose Trump.

I look at our country and see a factionalized society with a failing education system and business leaving in droves resulting in a 20 TRILLIION dollar debt and deficits going on into infinity. Also, collapsing foreign influence, withdrawal from a world that desparatly needs a cop and an infrastructure that is undoubtedly the most expensive but is plagued with pot holes, falling bridges and schools that are aging and structural problems and needs everywhere.

This after the top politician in our country promised to spend just shy of a trillion dollars on the infrastructure on "shovel ready" projects. Of course the projects were not at all ready and the money was a pay back vehicle to reward the party faithful.

I see things that are wrong that continue no matter who is in charge.

Every organizational problem is either personnel, systemic or both. Since the problems only get worse, we probably have a system that needs a severe shake up.

Trump promised to perform this shake up. From everything I know about his business practices and everything that I've observed so far in his post election actions, the shake up is under way.

The old methods are ineffective. Why not try something that has been proven to work in other organizations that have proven to be both successful and profitable?

It can hardly get worse. What the hell have we got to lose?

I'm sympathetic to the idea of bringing in a savvy non-politician outsider to shake up the entrenched establishment. There's a risk (and the status quo has been fine for me personally), but there's also a potential upside.

His business practice is to con people out of money and when he gets sued his defense is admitting he lied and in the fine print of the contract, admitted he would be lying. He has never run a successful business which is why he has been a plaintiff or defendant in over 3,000 lawsuits. Why do you think he lied and claimed to be funding his own campaign? Why do you think he spent $300,000 of DONATIONS to buy copies of his own book?

Anybody that claims to be worth ten billion but asks for money to help pay for a campaign that only costs a billion is a liar, deceiver, and a good con artist to actually get people to give him money to lie to them.

He has never ran a successful business without screwing people which is why in all his campaign events he couldnt scare up even a handful of people from the last 50 years to say he is a stand up person.

Frankly, it is beyond absurd to believe a candidate who conned Americans into real estate schemes cares about Americans. He has only ever cared about himself.

It is also very doubtful he will be inaugurated for several reasons, including the work involved and inability to run typical schemes. He knows if he actually becomes POTUS the best he could do is be impeached and hope prison is not far behind.

While I prefer him over Clinton it seems strange to say he will shake up the establishment after seeing how his cabinet is stuffed with millionaires and billionaires.

He is simply trying to make more money before January 20th because he has dedicated his life to avoiding accountability. If he wins the EC and Congress does not unseat him, he may use an unexpected "health" condition to justify dropping out.

He already admitted the rhetoric of prosecuting Clinton was simply to gain votes and I suspect many of his supporters are embarrassed but maintain the facade to avoid admitting they picked the wrong guy in the face of million billion warnings.

I was at a Thanksgiving Dinner with a group of very nice folks who were all terrified of the imagined outcomes of a Trump presidency. You would have fit in there perfectly. Trump was charged with being everything from a Fascist to a sexist and anything else the individual speaking was afraid of. Obviously, hysteria.

If you are an employee of New York City, you have free help available: New York City Offers Post-Election Stress Relief

I find it amusing that any Republican victor in the presidential election elicits the same charges from the Libs. Then there are the ongoing pretend violations of rights charged by the faithful:

Woman charged with filing false police report after claiming to be kidnapped on Facebook | WLOS

The simple truth of this is that the Democrat Party and their minions are lying to you and you are eating it up. ANY one-sided charge, LIKE THOSE MADE IN AN ELECTION CAMPAIGN, need to be researched. You have elected to simply accept them as truth. That kind of gullibility will not help you in life.

Trump is a very successful person who has made more money than most of us will ever see. His administration will follow the those of the two worst presidents the republic has ever suffered under and he has said that he has had enough of the incompetent idiocy of the past and wants to try something new.

In his words, "What the Hell do you have to lose?"

Are you afraid that he'll succeed or that he'll fail? How will the outcome that you fear impact your life as an individual?

I think Trump is going to run up the debt. I think he will allow Russia to resurge and likely over take former USSR nations, because it is no secret Russia wants to do. Trump could also hurt our standing with China, and it could get really serious.

I also think we got the kind canidate we did because of 911.

Whoever the President is seems bound to "run up the debt".

Bush added 5 trillion to the debt, doubling it. Obama is in the process of adding 10 Trillion to the debt, doubling it.

If the run up of the debt just slows, that would be refreshing.

Russia invaded Georgia under the guardianship of Bush. He annexed Crimea and invaded Ukraine under the Guardianship of Obama in violation of a treaty with Ukraine and the US.

Are you saying this will get worse under Trump? Russia has a GDP about equal to Italy.

What standing with China are you seeking to bolster? The trade imbalance is ridiculous, they ignore trade agreements, they pirate intellectual property, they are militarizing the South China Sea, they are bringing about one coal fired electrical plant on line every two weeks and are supporting the mischief of North Korea.

How could this relationship get any worse for the US?

911 created Trump? That's an interesting position. Do you think that 8 years of sluggish growth and the highest number of unemployed people in the US in history might have had anything to do with this?

The election of trump as a delayed reaction to 911 seems to be REALLY delayed.

Not surprising there was no response to the facts because seriously, the only way to defend Trump is to deflect.

Show us where you condemned the firefighter who set his own house on fire to blame BLM.

Show us where you condemned the cop who got shot and falsely accused an African American.

Think the general concern is Trump has no communication ability, does not know the Constitution, does not know foreign policy, does not know how to run a business in any successful fashion without manipulating every possible law for his own benefit.

Do you know who Trump is? He was portrayed by Wesley Snipes in New Jack City: "If Im going down, Im taking everybody with me!"

I still have doubts he will actually be inaugurated and think the hyperventilating over the CIA and Russia is a precursor to Congress rejecting EC votes for Trump to place Clinton in office similar to how Congress installed Hayes over Tilden even though Hayes lost both the popular and EC elections.

What do either of those things have to do with Trump?

You seem to have drunk the Kool Aide.

Do you have a gripe about something that is actually factual and about Trump?

Wow! You are really suffering from Trump Trauma!

He seemed to communicate pretty well. He beat both major political parties and the two biggest political machines in the country: the Clinton Machine and the Bush Machine.

What part of the Constitution is the part that you think he needs work on?

Are you afraid that he won't leave even more of the world in flames? It seems like the combined efforts of Hillary and Obama have destabilized about half of the world allowing invasions, creating anarchy, spreading refugees all over the world and toppling one country after another. Is this the Foreign policy you like?

His business is pretty successful. How many billions of dollars does a businessman need to amass before you think he's successful?

Wesley Snipes? You're raving!

Put your doubts to rest. Breath deeply and relax. If a president holds absolutely detestable policies that are an aberration and is a person that the people want to put in check, they will elect the opposing party to stop him in the House and in the Senate. You know, the same thing that the American people did to stop Obama's programs.

Explain these items:

If a venture costs one billion dollars and you have ten billion dollars, why are you unable to pay it alone?

Why did he spend $300,000 in donations to buy copies of his own?

Why has he been a plaintiff or defendant in over THREE THOUSAND lawsuits?

How many billionaires have filed over 7 bankruptcies?

If bankruptcies are so profitable why do companies work to AVOID bankruptcies?

Why did he use money from casino investors to pay his own bills rather than investing that money in casinos?

Think maybe that might have something to do with the fact 2016 was his first potus campaign and where did I say it was a "delayed" reaction?

Like every other liberal searching for reasons why Hillary lost, you miss the point. Let me help you: Trump won because he had an economic message that resonated with many in the working middle class. Period. Now stop searching for reason that fit your conclusions and face reality.

I see you didn't answer any question that I asked.

I suppose a better question than any of those is: What point are you trying to make?

I don't know if you EVER said that. The post you are commenting on was a response to a different poster.

lol....did you even read it? do you have any idea how many times i said she lost because she had no connection to the public or the economy and trump proves she would not have won no matter who was in the gop ticket?

This is still too funny:

"How many billions of dollars does a businessman need to amass before you think he's successful?"

His dad made the money, not him. He admitted being $315 million in debt. By your logic, someone 1 billion in debt is more successful than Trump.

If you dont know the point it is because you did not actually read it.

Trump received an inheritance and now he has more money.

I STILL don't know what point you're trying to make.

Did Donald Trump inherit $100 million? | PolitiFact Florida

Donald Trump has created about 34,000 jobs - Sep. 3, 2015

he admitted being in debt 300 million but the actual number is 1.5 BILLION. What is keeping you from understanding the 300 million debt confession proves he is a business failure?

He obviously has a whole bunch of money right now. I don't know if you are referring to a past accounting of wealth or current.

Perhaps you could clarify your meaning.

Do you have a link for what you are asserting.
