How to counter the top 4 arguments against gay marriage.

My pension is funded by myself and my company. Your argument doesn't make any sense.

That is nice for you but others are not so fortunate, please consider them.

I hope your company isn't as successful as Enron.

Our constitution states that all men are equal, but it seems when it comes to state endorsed marriage, you want some to be a little more equal than others huh?

Can someone let Bill Gates know that him and I aren't even close to "equal".

Accoridng th Jallman, it is a constitutional right of mine.

You most certainly are...you have equal rights to take part in the free market and utilize it to your best advantage. There is no cap on how much money you can make...nowhere does it state that Bill Gates is the only one who can take part in the software development market. Your histrionics are nothing short of amusing.

hey look at that. you have equal rights to marry a women just as I do.

We are equal after all.

hey, look at that. Your choice of partner is convenient to your personal choice and exercising of that choice. There is no equality when it comes to a homosexual having to marry outside of his personal choice just to appease your sense of spitefulness.

Tax laws are convenient for people that make little money. There is no equality when it comes to the tax code. Cry me a river!

However, I do not, for no reason other than the fact that I have a uterus. Not equal.

Hey, you are the one going into emotional hysterics, not me. If anyone is crying, its got to be you out of frustration. And just what does your statement have to do with the topic at hand?

Sorry, not a socialist or communist here. People need to fend for themselves. Personal responsibility is a good thing.

Why in the world would I be frustrated? The law and public sentiment is on my side. The constitition is on my side. Lifestyle choices are not protected and you are just as equal to me in regards to marriage.

Its annoying to see someone compare freedom of speech with receiving entitlements from marriage as one in the same but since it isn't gonna happen for you, no biggie.

You can keep telling yourself that all you want, but we shall see. I give it 5 years max and you will be singing a different tune.

You know, that's really bordering on the line of just being a jerk. Let's lighten up the tone here.

I agree with you..........5 years tops and we will see this issue resolved towards equal opportunity marriage rights of some sort or another.

Sorry, I find this reply to be ridiculous. We are debating a pretty controversial subject so some opinions may sound rude to people that disagree.

Accusing me of emotion hysterics is one thing. Calling me a jerk is another....

If your intentions weren't to be rude, then I apologize that I misread your tone.

I respect Jallman and hope he sees it that way. If he feels I was a jerk to him I would be first to apologize.

Trust me, I would never do such a thing.

I support anybody's real rights to engage in homosexual activity nor do I consider it immoral.

Then you ought to reject homosexuality, since practicing homosexuals are not very responsible.

I'm quite responsible, thank you very much.

Nevermind................................

In what way are we not responsible?
