How Should We Teach History?

I read Souls of Black Folks by W. E. B. du Boise back in the 60s. And I thought, "Damn! This is so old and out of date. Why do I keep hearing about this book?"

I just started Born a Crime by Trevor Noah.
It is both hilarious and disturbing. But it contains information to be researched by anyone who is actually interested. It can keep history from being BORING.
