For some reason it seems shocking to me that anyone can buy a d___do of the shelf in your neighborhood pharmacy. I thought that was what sex shops specialized in. Kinky toys. Or are d---dos no longer considered kinky?

I guess we live in very progressive times! It's possible these dildos are only available online. I wouldn't know since I've honestly never thought to look for one in a CVS.

One poster once asked me if I was Brazilian after he saw my nic. I told him that vadinho is one of my favorite characters from literature, he was amazed that I even knew who he was without being a Brazilian. Well, that's because I read books, lots and lots of books, for a long, long time.

I am 51 and my Nephew is now 34. He told me this some 7 years ago. Nephews can also grow up you know.

This has been The Best Thread (even if it's in Polls).

Thank you, to those of the many of you....who have, shall we say, added onto to your UserName/ID story. Even if it was to say 'I didn't really think about it.'

As for me, I don't generally participate in any sort of online/social media. I've read way more than I've posted. You all provoke me...make me think, and that's why I'm here.

I chose my ID for several reasons.

I grew up poor (although I didn't really know it at the time). And Money Mattered. Every day in every way.

Sigh......

But that's the Past and I have no real complaints.

I fell in love with a guy who came from a background even more humble than mine and, together, we started a frugal life that's turned into something very, very beautiful.

He still accounts for every penny (he's a CPA) and I still pick up every penny on the pavement because we never know when we'll need....Some...Cents.

And, I'm so hopefully that some (common) sense will rule the day. All puns intended. LOL......

But my kids could probably say the same...about me.

'Cept for the creaky boards in a few rooms (and...I useta know which way to step to avoid those but the house...and me...have gotten older and things have changed).

Back in the day I spent a lot of time playing darts. On one Navy deployment we made a port visit to Hong Kong and a shipmate and I drifted into a Brit Expat bar and we got invited to pay a few games with a couple of the locals. We couldn’t lose - and tradition demands that losers by winners drinks. Somehow we made it back to the ship and my buddy had to tell everyone how we’d showed those damn brits how to shoot darts. From that day on my callsign was “Bullseye”.

So sorry about your fur child...they are family all the way.
Our dog and cat are still relatively young so thankfully, barring any unforeseen, we still have quite a few years to enjoy them but I dread the day.

So very many beloved fur children of ours gone before them, we loved every single one.
