I've always been amazed at how much work people go through to avoid work. Most all criminal activity included. The amount of work and the risk factors. Knocks me out.

Me to. When I was young I worked at the unemployment fund with calculating compensation. At a course for newly employed some of the others complaíned about people that met all the conditions exactly (with not an hours work to spare). The rules where quite complicated with skippable time, hours of work and partly countable time and so on. The rules also changed quite often. The teachers told us not to worry. Those people already had a full time job: To keep track on the rules and regulations. ;)

I don't know if what you described amounts to more work than in the US, but, looking for work itself is a full-time job.

I am fan of my work. Because finally I opened small business which I always wanted. Learn how to identify your target market’s problems, concerns and issues to better create and position your offerings as the best solution in the marketplace. Btw, I choose how to start an llc in hawaii and will do it soon.

My job isn’t so bad. I “work” maybe 15 hours a week and still managed to get 165% of my yearly goals done in 2021 (I hit some stretch goals).

My boss thinks my job is tougher than it is since he brute forces himself through tasks and I automate them.

The women faked her pregnancy, twice. ( A lot of work to get out of work....)

Think she will go for the hat trick and fake a pregnancy to try to get out of the legal trouble she is in?

:ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

Seriously though, if found guilty, nail her to the wall.

I love my job. My work, all my duties and the people I engage with on a daily basis. I also love my mother-in-law. Oh, wait! I've been retired for yrs, before when my MIL passed-away. I don't have a hobby of doing the work I used to and never engage with any of those I knew at my job. Life is even better now.

This woman choose to use her lie to defraud her company and the state out of benefits/compensation. Same way losers in the millions fake injuries, and there is an entire industry around fake job injuries involving lawyers, doctors, and social services. So in that way, she isn't worse than fake injury people. I'm not excusing her, I just don't see her as worse than all the other supposed "gold bricks" who try to get out of work.

Like US transportation secretary Pete Buttigiege and his homosexual lover/husband taking 4 weeks off of work for "maternity leave" after ADOPTING a child. Did you hear that? Two MEN, taking off "maternity leave" and collecting paid benefits, who never needed to recuperate from a pregnancy. So, when you have a system created where some entitled losers can bilk the system and get paid, then some other losers are going to try and find their way to cash in too, even by using fraud.

Too many people today have very immoral attitudes about the obligation to show up to work and do a days work for the pay they already agreed to take. I would be fine with NO paid leave for anyone. Make them take the time time out of their accumulated vacation time, or sick time if they have that. But allowing for special time off, or special benefits, only inspires SOME people to game the system.

Only about three jobs did I really liked, one I loved and only one I really, really loved.

Seriously, I had way too many jobs in my life.

I really liked, mostly, the work I did. A lot to the point of putting in many hrs, being most always on salary, not hrly, mor most of my working life, and exempt from that 15 min break bullpukky. Other things were complicated and often not what they appeared to be.

Yeah. Every time my superiors said to me "Good news, we are moving you from hourly to Salaried" I ended up working more hours and actually making less if you figured it by the hours I spent against the salary.

Loved my job for 30 years until the last year when I got a boss who was underqualified. Decided to retire instead of putting up with the bs.
In my separation interview with my boss's boss when asked what I thought of the job. I told him I must be a comedian. The reason is my boss turned my job into a joke.

End result, within a few months after I retired, they removed my boss from that position.

My calcs showed the same thing, but only in the beginning. That disappeared after my first raise. But my bosses didn't work me. I worked the job due to my own desire. It resulted in "fringe" benefits, like leaving early and taking off in the middle of the day for a bit to take care of personal business, but always putting in the time and going above and beyond job performance expectations.

With one company, I didn't dare even try. That would have been disrespectful. With the others, it was never an "in your face" attitude on my part. I didn't otherwise leverage my work performance.

As long as you had enough to fill in having none.
