Happens all the time. Every state has a law that specifies when someone may kill in self-defense.Well you should use that defense and see if that convinces the jury of justifiable homicide.
Everyone has the right to kill in self defense. That's why we have a right to arms. You guys know what you said and now you're attacking me and trying to change the subject. You support gun violence...
Actually it is you who supports violent criminals as they prey on the people you want disarmed.
Tell me will you put your money where your mouth is and put a lighted sign in your window that says "Gun Free Home"?
Everyone has the right to kill in self defense. That's why we have a right to arms.
You don't have to like, but you need to accept it.
Happens all the time. Every state has a law that specifies when someone may kill in self-defense.
So, what was your point?
Absolutely you do. Its one of our basic rights as individuals. You do not have the right to kill anyone period.
This is not at all necessarily the case.If you do kill in self defense you have to prove to a court that it was self defense.
The original problem began with the escalation of firearms technology. Where does it say in the second amendment that the right to bear arms means anything more than single shot muskets, pistols, knives and swords?
The Constitution of the United States of America
SECOND AMENDMENT
A well regulated Militia being necessary to the security of a free
State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms shall not be
infringed.
further more I've posted in Goobiemans thread that only 10% of americans own 80% of the guns;
First-Time Gun Buyers The Exception, 10% Of Americans Own 80% of Guns - CBS News
\
Poll after poll has shown that a majority of Americans favor tougher gun laws, and yet little has happened. One reason for that, researchers believe, is because for the shrinking number of Americans who do own guns, this is not just a big issue, it's the only issue.
"We find that about 10 percent of the adults in the United States own about 80 percent of all the guns,” said professor Jens Ludwig of Georgetown University, who conducted the study. That translates into about 150 million guns.
You act as if everybody has a gun but these are the facts. You are the minority the rest of society left the wild west behind a long time ago.
So yes I'll put that sign in my window.
Its pretty clear you arent interested in honest debate. Everyone knows that state laws allow for killing people in self-defense.If you are not going to provide a reference to your claim
Well, seeing how no one in this thread actually supported or approved of gun violence and yet Sabotour decided to claim that everyone that disagreed with his notion did, let us use his same type of logic.
Using Sabotour same type of flawed logic, it is rather evident that...despite not saying it...his posts show that he hates the constitution and through that implies he hates freedom. Its just good to know that Sabotour hates the constitution and freedom as now we have a pretty good gage for how he feels about those things.
Its pretty clear you arent interested in honest debate. Everyone knows that state laws allow for killing people in self-defense.
To wit:
Texas Penal Code Sections 9.41, 9.42, & 9.43
Texas Penal Code - Section 9.41. Protection Of One's Own Property - Texas Attorney Resources - Texas Laws
Texas Penal Code - Section 9.42. Deadly Force To Protect Property - Texas Attorney Resources - Texas Laws
Texas Penal Code - Section 9.43. Protection Of Third Person's Property - Texas Attorney Resources - Texas Laws
THe third sections talks about protection of a third-person's property.
And so, what was your point?
The describe the cirumstances under which the right to kill someome in self-defense may be exercised. These are penal codes not rights.
By the very fact it did not mention those things. The constitution btw recognizes rights, it does not grant them
CBS... at you using gun grabbing cbs.....
More guns, less crime. In the decade of the 1990s, the number of guns in this country increased by roughly 40 million—even while the murder rate decreased by almost 40% percent.7 Accidental gun deaths in the home decreased by almost 40 percent as well.8
* CDC admits there is no evidence that gun control reduces crime. The Centers for Disease Control (CDC) has long been criticized for propagating questionable studies which gun control organizations have used in defense of their cause. But after analyzing 51 studies in 2003, the CDC concluded that the "evidence was insufficient to determine the effectiveness of any of these [firearms] laws."9
Freedom is a bitch aint it.
good put it there take a picture and lets see... The criminals will appreciate the heads up...
The describe the cirumstances under which the right to kill someome in self-defense may be exercised.
The right exists, whether you like it or not.
Subjective interpretation.
Your opinion. My opinion of your opinion? Ignorance and ignorance by choice.
Less people own more guns that is my point. If you don't get it then you don't get it. I'm not here to hold your hand and explain why the sky is blue.
Well the CDC stats I posted earlier were from 2005. That criticism is from before that year. Don't you think it could just be a trend in cyber crime that is lowering violent crime?
You think you're free? I guess when placated with false power it would be easy to think so.
No digital camera but I am sure the sign will tell 'the criminals' (starting to sound like a Bronson vigilante movie around here) that I don't have the one thing they would want.

"Guns kill people".
Well, of course they do -- it they didn't they'd be worthless.
I learned a long time ago that some people need to be killed.
Saboteur won't be happy until the only shooting deaths that occur are the illegal ones.
Having shot a mugger I dispute your nonsense.
The right to arms is predicated on the fact that sometimes people need to kill other people.
At least I understand the constitution and the bill of rights.
More proof that you arent interested in honest debate.Skewed interpretation like that of the 2nd Amendment.
I passed Government 101! I know!!PLEASE NO ONE ELSE ANSWER THIS I WANT TO HEAR SABS HERE
1. what rights does the constitution grant.
2. Who does the Constitution restrict?
Right cause all the og's in the hood are now peddling kiddy porn.
 camera phone?
No they're peddling the illegal, stolen guns.
Have you ever read the Declaration of Independence? It states about rights what has always been and always will be. The US Constitution was framed in order to protect those rights from being subdued by the government. Though necessary, the Founders never trusted government to stay clean and uncorrupted by men. The Bill of Rights was added to comply with state constitutional conventions who would only ratify the Constitution with those amendments included.Skewed interpretation like that of the 2nd Amendment.
So how did the court hearing go for you then?
PLEASE NO ONE ELSE ANSWER THIS I WANT TO HEAR SABS HERE
