I would say at least 25.Are you all attaching solar pannels to your houses ?driving electric cars? not taking plane journeys? are all your lights uneeded on turned off? Having baths? Breathing to much?.

Lets face it most people dont you know really care they might say they care even talk some of the science they dont understand. But they dont wanna do nothing.Governments are trying the best of seeing ways to cut carbon emissions without damaging their economies but lets face it to do what is now presented as self evident it will cost money.

I believe carbon emission will be cut in places but they will more than be made up for by china's and india's further developement.People can come together in sprit during a war but all joining together to buy energy saving lightbulbs i doubt.

There is measure of caring....tempered by a pessimism reality forces on this complicated issue. But, Yes, people do care. My family is trying to limit our carbon impact, but I also understand it will be ineffective on a global scale, and indeed on a local one as well. This does not make me stop doing so, but it is certainly not the whole plan.
The Earth environment is rapidly (by geological standards) changing, and we , as humans, will not reverse this trend. Any thinking mind will take the logical step of accepting this reality, and attempt to prepare for the inevitable.....whatever that may be. As an example:

My Family now lives on the coast of Lake Ontario in NY. This area was chosen for its Heat Sink which may help in the event of dramatic global temperature variation. The area also has an enormous fresh water source and feels Economic impact at a slower pace than much of the United States. Will this mean anything at all to me?....Not likely. But My Kids may very well reap benefits from the choices I made.

We have pretty trees too.

The state I live in is considered one of the most polluted if not THE most polluted in our country.
This is not to say we contribute to it; the things I do to save energy and keep our own negative contributions to the problem also save us a tidy sum in utilities payments, so there is an immediate result in doing so. Unfortunately, this is also a state of lazy people who don't care if they run dryers past the point of dry clothes and developers who couldn't care less about the 'pretty trees'-they're in the way of the McMansions.
NJ was home to a few large international manufacturers that didn't think twice about dumping their toxic waste a few yards from their facilities; the Superfund cleanup that was started over 15 years ago barely touched the problem of that dumping(there was even a clean-up directly across the street from my house-asbestos in the soil). These companies pulled up stakes and left the damages behind.
I do care. I don't drive an electric car and can't afford solar panels, although if I could, I'd not only get those, I'd install a windmill as well. We own cars that exceed the government set emissions standards. We don't spread fertilizer any more and we recycle. I gave regularly to World Wildlife Fund, including buying Christmas gifts through them when I had a regular job.
As the climate changes on a global scale, these things seem worthless to do, but to be just totally wasteful and ignorant would be worse. If conversation comes up where I can interject, I mention the savings culled from not running the dryer, not using any hot water except to shower, from sealing the windows in winter and keeping the thermostat at 66. But things like this aren't mandated and people will continue to say they care, but continue to be lazy. One glance at rush hour traffic proves that....

From the people who do believe it, but don't actually do anything "Environmental." To those who eat, sleep, and breathe Environmentalism. I would say there are about 500,000 Americans that believe it, not to mention their lobbiests....Don't need to name them.

As for me Environmentalism is just another subject to argue about. Even "Environmentalism" at its best, hardly anything happens.
