This is going to upset all of the right people.
 
That's an awful lot of people in only 5000 years

interesting to me that over half the people lived in the AD era, beginning when the world's population was less than today's US

According to the math, 60,439,585,668 people were born in the AD period which is roughly 3/5 of every human born. 2/5 have 50,000 years and only around 1 billion has 50 thousand to 8 thousand BC. That says something about the direct correlation that technology has with population size
