How many of you are tired of choosing the lesser of two evils for President?

Would you like to see a presidential ticket that had a republican and a democrat on the same ticket?

We need a legitimate third party. And the only way we can do that is if we can pass some sort of legislation to limit big money controlling everything. I think a good start would be recognising that corporations are not people. They shouldn’t have the constitutional protections that citizens have. I may be wrong, but that could be a way to limit their control. There’s options.
What options are available to the people that circumvent big money's ability to lobby politicians right into their back pocket?

The RFK who said he had a worm eating away his brain? The Kennedy that admitted to dumping a dead bear in Central Park?

That RFK?
You forgot the head he severed from a protected marine animal and drove it across state lines.

I’m getting really tired of choosing the lesser of two evils. I really don’t like voting against someone. I want a candidate that sounds reasonable. I want to vote for someone who inspires me. I want to have hope for the future of this country. I’d like to see two leading candidates from opposing parties say, “you know what, I don’t agree with his policies, but he’s a smart reasonable guy. I bet if we worked together we could get things done.” And then run a campaign like we’ve never seen before. I’d like to see them run on an actual platform that they show the country, complete with actual details that form a cohesive vision for a better America. And then be able to intelligently debate the details of their plan with whoever asks. Admittedly that doesn’t have to be a republican and a democrat on the same ticket, but just think what kind of message that would send to the American people. That they are above the partisan politics and are really serious about looking at all the points of view and then finding common ground and getting things done that make America better. Is it not time for that.
The way I look at it there is only one candidate in this election who is truly evil and it's not Kamala... by a long shot!

Why do you consider Harris and Walz to be evil?

I will say Harris is a strange choice for me in that I agree with you - she is sane and competent. But is it juxtaposing her against Donald that makes her appealing? Would I feel the same way if the GOP had offered a candidate that wasn't Donald, or a batshit crazy Trumplican?
That depends if you want to live in a democracy, @Lycanthrope .

Evil of course is in the eye of the beholder when it comes to politics. I don't consider Harris to be evil. I do disagree with some of the policies I expect her to enact if she can, but that means that she represents a majority of voters that I may not always agree with. That's how democracy works. I can live with that. Hopefully we get a candidate with policies closer to my personal wants next time.

Trump on the other hand I do consider to be an evil man. Truly evil! It doesn't matter what his policies are, I am not voting for an evil person to lead the country. That makes voting for Harris in 2024 a no brainer for me. The last thing we need right now is an evil, immoral, divisive, idiot like Trump as our leader. If Trumps policy positions were the sane versions of what he says he wants to so instead of the extreme versions he hopes to win votes with, I would maybe favor Trumps policies over Harris's, but Trump himself is far to EVIL for me to support, and his policies as currently stated would be an economic disaster for us all. Except of course his rich buddies who have been buying him, and maybe his buddy Putin as Trump seeks revenge on Ukraine for not starting a fake investigation into Biden when he told them to.

I can't think of another election that I have participated in where the choice between evil and not evil has been more obvious.

The hatred is totally rational. Don’t you hate all sex offenders?

Accusations of hate where none is present is totally irrational. In other words, your typical Trumpie.

Oh-I admit I hate the scumbag felon-for many reasons, none of which have to do with his positions on the issues. We can have a difference of opinion on the issues and discuss them as adults.
However the scumbag prioritized his failed reelection campaign over the lives of innocent Americans when he chose to ignore the severity of the pandemic even though he knew many more would die because of it. He ignored the advice of his medical advisors and supported snake oil drugs and modeled shitty behavior by not wearing a mask in public and holding large mask optional rallies, killing people. He is also a convicted sex offender and a pathological liar who tried to steal an election he clearly lost by a lot.
We can disagree on the issues-abortion, immigration, tax policy etc-but I have no respect for anyone without a shred of integrity.
The hate is real.

You’re making the OP’s point. Irrational hatred of Trump is not a legitimate reason to vote for Harris.
I like Harris and what she and Biden have done. But why not vote for her merely to prevent Trump’s promised fascist-like policies, much as many notable republicans seem to be motivated to do? I say this worried that tho Trump’s bark is often worse than his bite, this time around he won’t have moderating influences in his administration.

blah blah blah, I am voting for Trump. I hear no evil, see no evil, speak no evil.
Now why don't you just let me have my vote and leave me alone like an un-evil person should.

Furthermore, and so Forth....

Since human beings are not perfect, our choices are always between one that appears better than the other.

This year the choice is easy.
Trump - a convicted felon, scan artist, con man, vile excuse of a human being.
or
Harris.
Harris is the easy and best choice.

That’s not true. It’s just what we’ve gotten used to accepting. Our standards are so low right, but it’s worse than that because you don’t even realize how low they are. There was a time when we expected more. There was a time when you voted on a person because you believed in what they believed. Not just for whoever would do the least damage. Of course you were still choosing between the two. But the one you voted for gave you hope. And the other side thought the same thing. They believed what their guy believed and he gave them hope. But now I believe that the standard for our nominees has gotten so low now, we just have to vote for who will do the least damage.

"...terminate the Constitution...", "...dictator for a day..."

Attempt at derogatory comment is a massive fail based on actual events.
