I've noticed that several of the we want a national ban or abortion candidates seem to be changing their mind, or are they just saying something different now that they've fired up the women of america with their antics?

Are they going to try to use the economy as an issue? The price of gas and inflation?

God, guns and country will certainly be a talking point, enough of the gop candidates have put out commercials with guns and hunting rinos to get the point.

Socialism will be on the agenda and of course the criminal biden family.

My question to these gop candidates, what are you for? What policies do you propose to help your constituents.

Like it or not in the past two months the dems have gotten quite a bit of their agenda passed that they promised the american people. Will the gop help to move america forward or just drag us backward as is so often the outcome?

R's are only interested in personal power. They will tell as many as they think they will need to tell to be reelected.

There's not enough lies they could tell to convince this country anything. They're done, and their painful gasp for air is on display. It's disgusting at this point.

Enough already, America has had enough of the toxic bizarre Christian Clown show.

Far less than the lies the democrats have to tell.

I can't believe there are still "yous" in this country. I must say, you're really beholden to your savior, I'm just not sure he's really a savior. Good luck!

A savoir? Are you off your rocker?

Almost every politician who makes it that high up in politics is a total piece of shit. If you actually support any of them, rather than seeing them what they are... A variety of evils... then I feel sorry for you.

Think about it. When you vote, do you really know the candidate well enough to like the charlatan, or are you voting for the lesser of evils?

The last time I actually voted for a candidate I believed in, was 1980. All since are the lesser of two evils.

Yet, you side with the greater of two evils.

Are they [GOP] going to try to use the economy as an issue? The price of gas and inflation?
Economy IS the issue. This is #1 thing on (most) voters' minds.

Most Americans have lost $5k - $8k/yr of their discretionary income due to inflation. It's impossible to ignore, and (most) voters will be thinking about it in November.
God, guns and country will certainly be a talking point, enough of the gop candidates have put out commercials with guns and hunting rinos to get the point.
Nah. GOP will hammer home the abysmal borrowing/spending policies of this administration. That's a piece of cake.
Socialism will be on the agenda and of course the criminal biden family.
To a very small extent, probably.

Disagree. Dems have pretended to address inflation with the Inflation Reduction Act. However the Congressional Budget Office plainly stated the the IRA would have little or no impact on inflation. Informed voters are aware of this, and this deliberate deception by dems will only hurt them - not help them.

About half as many as the democrats tell theirs.

We have paper ballots you write on, either an "X" or the candidate of you choice.

I have been known to write "Hang the pricks", "who cares?", "give me something to vote FOR", and 'go **** yourselves","try harder" and who are these idiots?"
That's my version of none of the above.

yep ......

Trump worked in more than 30,000 in 4 years. There will be a ton of candidates so from out of the blue my guess is one million lies.

Republicans also want to blame Biden for the supply-chain shortage that has contributed to inflation.

But experts say the COVID-19 pandemic has disrupted every aspect of the global supply chain, from manufacturing and transportation to logistics, and not only in the United States but worldwide, at a time when the pandemic has also sparked a buying spree. The problem is partly due to a decades-old business strategy that aims to keep inventories lean.

The U.S. consumer price index has risen at more than a 5% annual rate for four months in a row, while the economy suffers from labor and supply shortages caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Trump did lie.

Why is/was inflation so high?

Global supply chains seized up. With demand up and supplies down, costs jumped. And companies found that they could pass along those higher costs in the form of higher prices to consumers, many of whom had managed to pile up savings during the pandemic.Jul 13, 2022

There is an element of the prices we’re seeing today — and how Americans are responding to them — that could be explained by big business run amok. Philippon, whose book “The Great Reversal” focuses on how a lack of competition and corporate concentration have defined the modern American economy, told me that one reason why inflation is such a big deal in the U.S. is that prices were already so high to begin with.

“That’s not a statement about rapid inflation, it’s a statement about slowly rising profit margins that slowly choke off the middle class,” Philippon said. “One reason it’s particularly painful in the U.S. is that prices were already high, people’s purchasing power, the real value of their wages was already being eroded by market power before. Then when you add to that a burst of inflation, it’s even more painful.”

Prices have to stabilize for Americans to feel good about the economy — and for Democrats to feel good about their chances in 2022.

“I don’t think there’s any message that would make people feel good about 7 percent inflation,” Furman said.

Let's guess who you voted for in 1980. Could it be the iran/contra guy?

The right will try to make it about the economy but the economy is doing just fine and millions of jobs have come back to life. Inflation and the price of gas has nothing to do with biden but the right will lie to its base and tell them it's all his fault.

As the old saying goes, you have to spend money to make money. What good is a ton of money sitting around doing nothing? Well now it's being put to good use.

Say, when is the republican infrastructure bill going to be unveiled?

Who exactly are these "we want a national ban on abortion" candidates?
Are they going to try to use the economy as an issue? The price of gas and inflation?
Probably.
God, guns and country will certainly be a talking point, enough of the gop candidates have put out commercials with guns and hunting rinos to get the point.
Gee, you think the GOP wouldn't support the values that made this country great; Dems will do pronouns, penis-ectamies, and open season in women's locker rooms.
Socialism will be on the agenda and of course the criminal biden family.
The biggest "well, duh! of your list, so far.

More free to conduct their own lives, call the DOJ out of school board meetings. Teach reading, writing and arithmetic in school, And fire even teacher who asks about our pronouns. Lower taxes, of course.

Yeah, the new Republican President may beat Biden's first day EO record. Or maybe he's just turn around the standard "all EO's of my predecessor remains in effect" to "unless renewed by me within 90 days all Biden E.Os will be cancelled.

Our opinion differs there.

The Beatles were prophetic about Biden. He's a Real Nowhere Man.
It would. No matter how many times and in how many different ways your leadership shows you they don't give two craps about you, y'all still vote republican. When was the last time the gop actually did something for you?

It's ok, you can act like you have no idea that there are republicans who want a national ban on abortion.
God and guns did not make this country great. Helping others did. How quickly you forgot WW2.
Yup that good old socialism that doesn't exist. We are a capitalistic society but go ahead and lie to the base and tell them it's socialism.
Lower taxes, of course, because the gop members don't like paying their fair share which makes me think who are the socialists who want free stuff? Conducting your own lives means treading on others lives in gop lingo.

There is no new republican president.

It doesn't matter what the republicans "want". The U.S. Supreme Court ruled that the states will decide abortion statutes - NOT the federal government. Per the latest SCOTUS ruling, there cannot be "a national ban on abortion".

If anyone (in Congress) tries to pass a national abortion ban, it would immediately get overturned.

Agree but even among thieves Trump stands alone.

They aren't actually for anything. Just against stuff.

In the 2016 election I campaigned hard to get a binding "none of the above" choice put on Kansas ballots.

NOne, as they own the election process and if they do not get enough votes, WELLLL that can all be changes by ousting Dem votes.
