Updated | A company controlled by Donald Trump, the Republican nominee for president, secretly conducted business in Communist Cuba during Fidel Castro’s presidency despite strict American trade bans that made such undertakings illegal, according to interviews with former Trump executives, internal company records and court filings.
"Provided AID AND COMFORT TO THE ENEMY". That's some ridiculous hyberbole even for you. I consider arming, training, and providing support to Al-Qaeda affiliates far more in line with "aid and comfort". Do you know any presidential candidates who have advocated doing that? And documents show that Trump knew about it the whole time. Doesn't matter. Trump supporters will still vote for him, even though he provided aid and comfort to the enemy. Says as much about them as it does about Trump.

Trump violated the embargo by doing business with Fidel Castro, who WAS our enemy, for Christ sake.
You have just proven my point. Like I said in my OP. It doesn't matter to Trump supporters. They will find a way to excuse his behavior, no matter how bad it is. Trump was right when he said that he could shoot somebody on Fifth Ave in broad daylight and not lose any supporters. That's because his supporters are just as amoral as he is.
What enemy list is Cuba or Fidel on? We dont have a state of war with them. Other than actual enemies during war, why should the govt decide who citizens can and can not trade with?
Is the objection to US business doing business in Cuba? Or is it that Trump did business in Cuba?
Do you still consider Cuba an enemy of the United States?

It was at the time, and Trump committed a felony by doing business there.
"Our Enemy"? No, he was the government's enemy and was so for nebulous and spurious reasons. Don't care personally if people did business with Cuba. Anyway people unofficially did business for years by way of Mexico.Trump violated the embargo by doing business with Fidel Castro, who WAS our enemy, for Christ sake.

This kind of post is hilarious. How can people that prop up their criminal candidate point a finger at the other guy and cry out with angst? What ever happened to that rule about people in glass houses not casting stones?
Great way to not answer so I will ask again.
Is your objection that a US business did business in Cuba? Or is it because Trump did it?

For me the answer is:Is your objection that a US business did business in Cuba? Or is it because Trump did it?
Yet another example. This thread is now rich with examples. This time, Trump is excused because "It's OK to break the law".
I am sure that the statute of limitations has run out by now.
This is a non-issue.
A few people from a Trump company going to visit Cuba is not "doing business with Cuba". Is there any evidence of business? If these were consultants "business" would mean that somebody payed them for advise, is there any proof that this happened? This thread appears to be built on anti-Trump propaganda, but I am willing to examine the matter.
Nope he just didn't intend to break it. It was a simple mistake.:lamo

Haven't we been told ever since Obama lifted the embargo that Cuba is not an enemy of the US?
Why was it before?
My objection is breaking the law. If Hillary had done it, I would be all over her too. But this is not about Hillary, and it's just not about "Only because Trump did it". Trump DID do it.
Actually, he did intend to. It's why he went there.
Chalk up another example.
