How does one cite multiple poster quotes? Or just cite partial of a user's?

Hope it's okay to post this here.

I can't figure out how to only cite what I want in a user's post. I see it's being done, but I sure can't do it. When I select Multiple Quotes, I still can't figure it out.

Can you explain how this is done? Thank you!!!

(I always end up picking up the whole quote and having to delete 'til I only have the portion I want. And I have absolutely NO idea how to use this poster's and this poster's, etc.)

Thanks.

Open the quote in a new window, copy and paste to one box you're writing in.
Much easier that way.

I often click the multi-quote button on all the posts that I want to reference and then edit them down from there.
