How do you compost a human body - and why would you?

I have told my family that my preference is to be cremated after any useful organs have been harvested. This sounds like a good idea as well. I just don't want my dead body in a coffin taking up a plot of land somewhere years after everyone I ever knew is also dead. I don't see the point. But honestly, whatever gives my family the most comfort/closure is fine. My wife comes from a Buddhist background so it will most likely be cremation.
