But does this mean anything? Does it mean anything for the up upcoming midterm elections? I think not. I always look at things, events, happenings with an eye toward any upcoming election.

In my opinion, if the election were held today, the Republicans would regain control of the House. We have 397 newly drawn districts in the 47 states that have completed their redistricting. 38 are left to be redrawn. Out of that 42 districts/seats are in the competitive column, at risk of being switched which includes 29 Democrats along with 13 Republicans. Florida, Missouri and New Hampshire are the three states which haven’t completed their redistricting. So, the above competitive/at risk seats certainly will change because of that along with the dynamics of any election.

In the senate, not much polling has been done. Probably won’t be until the primaries start. But we do have a consensus pundit forecast. Pure tossups are Nevada, Arizona, Georgia held by Democrats along with Wisconsin and Pennsylvania held by Republicans. These 5 states could go either way.
