Sure there are. There are benefits to not growing the population.

Another nail in the democrat party coffin. They were put on by Trump's CDC director to protect the American public from COVID. When they're removed, an addition 18,000 a day are expected to swarm the border. Where will these people go?
Logically, why would you allow more and more people in who will only be a burden to the ones already living here? Who will pay to house, feed, educate and provide medical care to these people?
I think I may know the answer. Do you?
You should come and visit TN some day. Lots of people who can't take care of themselves. They are all around us and they aren't brown. Looking for someone to work and you have to find someone from sotb, or else you'll be stranded on day 2.I live in California. C'mon.
https://www.cato.org/blog/14-most-common-arguments-against-immigration-why-theyre-wrongI will personally be looking forward to the great economic expansion this wave of illegal immigrants will bring.

So the concern that a social safety net is an incentive not to work is not a valid concern. We don’t have labor problems either - look how many ‘undocumented’ folks come here to work.
They aren't economic benefits. There are benefits to not growing the population.
Global warming and carbon emissions is a GLOBAL issue. Not to mention the extra carbon footprint the USA will place upon climate change, the left worships. The hypocrisy is astounding. With millions and millions of illegal immigrants being allowed into our country, the amount of food, electricity, gas, etc must be huge. Not to mention the huge amount of taxpayer funded money needed.....Biden and the left cares less about Americans, it's their agenda which is paramount and all else falls by the wayside.

Not all social safety nets are created equal. If it can be abused it should be corrected. But that doesn't mean that a social safety net is by default a bad thing. Some poorly thought out public programs don't work. Some can and do work. Not at all. Since many “safety net” program benefits are structured such that earning $2 more (on the books) reduces their “safety net” benefits by $1, that makes working more hours net half of the nominal hourly wage. In many cases that can result in working for (net) below the statutory MW.
The dems already have accepted that they will lose big in the midterms, but Biden (or Harris) will be with us for 2 more years and the flood of illegals will continue.
These illegals are an "investment" in future votes. The dems are in this for the long game, to replace the long standing demographics of many voting districts in their favor.

They aren't 'expected to.' People shouldn't be immigrating to the United States illegally. If they do, they can't expect to enjoy the same benefits of those who are here legally. You keep talking in circles. If 11M (or more) ‘undocumented’ immigrants are expected to support themselves and their dependents by working alone then why not expect the same of all US residents?
Bonafide tripe. There is an additional factor to consider...
What ever good was derived by previous waves of immigration to America, it is a bad Assumption that all future immigrants will provide the same benefits, growth and prosperity... because NOT all immigrants from various eras and foreign lands, are equal. Sorry, scream racist if you want, but it is just a FACT.
As the policies of the Democratic Party, Soros and Left continue to make America worse and worse, at some point, those people in foreign nations who might have been immigrants in the past, will find that continuing to strive to make their nation of origin better, is a path of less risk and greater profit than illegally, or legally immigrating to America!
Eventually, only desperate, unskilled, uneducated, lazy, significantly ill, disabled, or criminal elements will find the options in America better than staying put in their nation of origin. So, the mix of who we get will get worse and worse, as conditions in all of America, begin to look like Detroit!
We will no longer attract the beneficial people, but just the people who will be burden. And America spirals downward, like the city of Detroit.
America has never faced an immigration wave with open borders, rather than Ellis Island type of restrictions. America has never faced an immigration wave when we were already an over-filled nation rather than a frontier. America has never faced an immigration wave when we already had over 30+ Trillion Dollars in debt! America has never faced an immigration wave when all manufacturing requires high levels of education, and America was not the world's leader in industry.
Not all immigration waves can be assumed to give the nation the same type and level of benefits.

Exactly what I expected.Bonafide tripe.
Not all immigrants from the same family are created equal.
Your understanding of life and human nature is sorely lacking. Looks like bonafide racism. Yep.
