Both Trump and Hannity talk about much of the same stuff and use many of the same excuses. They both definitely use the same topics to keep ratings/support. They have each other's back. I do think Hannity is a bit smarter.

Hannity is a useless moron. I listen to him on the way home because I want to know what my opponents are up too.

The dude never got over 2016, and he is literally a mouthpiece for the same lies I hear repeated on this forum every day.

Hannity is a piece of ****.

Sean Hannity was not a Trump supporter in 2016. Neither was Rush Limbaugh. Both were severely anti-Clinton, so they back door supported Tump, but they were not sold yet. Hannity came around when Trump started fulfilling his promises. Limbaugh never has, though he is still militantly anti-Democrat.
 
Both Sean Hannity and Rush Limbaugh have defended Trump at every turn. Go read the transcripts.

All you have to do is read some of the transcripts and listen in every once in a while.

It's not like their strategies or tactics change that much.
