An attempt at a summary:
Some background: Dmitry Firtash is a Ukraninian who was installed by Putin to be the middle-man between Russian energy export to Ukraine. Firtash would receive billions being the middle-man, for basically nothing, and he'd use that "laundered" money to pursue Putin's agenda both in keep Ukraine corrupt and in his pocket, and whatever else he might need. We found out publicly, I believe, about Firtash, because of the former Ukranian leader who Paul Manafort got into office...Paul and the corrupt leader were being paid from Firtash via Putin. He also has ties to Russian organized crime.
So Firtash is swollen with Russian money, but is wanted on bribery charges in the U.S., fighting extradition for 5 years.
He finally loses and is basically green lit to appear in the U.S. He is now desparate, fires his legit attorney (Lenny who was Cohen's attorney), and hires DiGenovas (Fox news pro Trump), and Rudy (Fox news pro Trump).
DiGenovas stated goal is to prevent Firtash's extradition to the U.S.
They pull in Rudy's thugs, Parnas and Fruman, to help.
Rudy gets manufactured dirt from Fritash about the Bidens and the Russia investigation to give to Rudy to help out..you know, for help not being extradited.
This is the papers Rudy was waving around on Fox. The author turns out to be Shokin, the corrupt former prosecutor who was removed by the U.S. under Biden's appeal. A completely phony document he "swears to", given to Firtash, and to Rudy.
In exchange, Rudy meets with the state department to try and work something out for Firtash, they reject his offer.
He then appeals to the White House, they don't assist.
Now he's meeting with the justice department. Will Rudy and the DiGenovas be able to get Firtash's extradition stopped? Kind of like how Epstein got off right? You decide!
So there it is folks. That's what Trump had Rudy doing. That's what those two nutballs the DiGenovas were doing.
Aiding a Russian-backed...wanted on bribery rich guy, to avoid extradition to the U.S. to face massive bribery charges.
In exchange, they were helping Rudy help Trump to get re-elected by slamming Mueller/Russia investigation, and Biden, with phony stuff that Fox (and then other right wing outlets as per normal) has been happy to run with as credible.
Rudy's two pals he's known for a while...he invited one for Bush Sr. funeral, there are pics of it.
Rudy also sought some assistance from Paul Manafort, while Paul is in jail, to help get his footing in Ukraine.
So Rudy, working on behalf of Trump, gets together with 4 criminals (Paul, the thugs, and Firtash), and tries to use their phony dirt in exchange for his extradition.
The guy has billions, he's like a walking ATM to those craven Trump supporters. Break the rules, get rich, support Trump. That's all it takes, apparently.
So we have people at Fox news, and now regular American Trump supporters, literally pushing the agenda of pro-Russian, Russian-backed Dmtry Firtash's efforts to get extradited.
Let that sink in. The level of money and power and connection...to effectively get 40% of the U.S. population and the sitting President to help assist you...a corrupt Russian-funded billionaire, from being extradited on bribery charges to the U.S.
