At worst this "investigation" will now put out a harshly worded letter. Essentially flushing this giant douchey conspiracy theory down the toilet with the rest of the right wing propaganda garbage being peddled in that fruitcake echo-chamber of nuts.

House Republicans wrap their investigation into FBI's handling of Clinton and Russia probes

The Republican leaders of two House committees say their investigation into the FBI's handling of Hillary Clinton's email server and its probe of alleged coordination between the Trump campaign and Russia uncovered concerns about the "thoroughness and impartiality" of each investigation.

Nothing but a giant waste of time and money to placate the lunatics that make up their base.

Have they released any report and/or transcripts?

Lol, it doesn't really matter what the report says. Those who need it to say what they need it to say, will say that it was a total condemnation of Comey, etc..

And former-AG Lynch.

They will fabricate a conspiracy that says this investigation was thwarted or run by deep state nevertrumpers or something. Their bubble of lies will always persist.

Of course, and why not? They know that the majority of the Republican base will believe it.

Since Comey was the acting AG it is perfectly OK for him to have decided that a case is or is not worthy of prosecution.

I think House Democrats should do a post-mortem on that Republican sham of an investigating into voter fraud that occurred when Trump took office, and hold it up to ridicule. Call the morons who worked on it, under oath, and just let the world see them for who they are.
Same with this stuff, there should be an analysis of just how partisan this was, and what productively it accomplished.

  • Other than the fact that there was classified documents on her private server.
  • Other than the fact that the FBI and the investigators of the case have clearly shown political bias, especially when compared against other similar investigation
  • Other than the fact that the FBI investigation in the 'matter' was geared all to exonerating her at all cost.
  • Other than the fact that the FBI investigation's of Hillary allowed other subject witnesses in attendance - something against procedure, if I recall
  • Other than the fact that Hillary and those in her circle destroyed evidence under subpoena.
  • . . . . (and on, and on, and on) there was nothing 'typical', 'normal' or 'standard' about Hillary's treatment by Obama's DOJ and FBI - in fact quite of bit of it was against FBI standard practice

Some poeple's response is 'nothing to see here'???

WTF? Clearly a case of party and Clinton before country.

Clearly the sham investigation was FBI's investigation of Hillary in this case.

The Senate needs to pick up where the House left off and the President needs to declassify a few things for the sake of transparency.

Agreed.

That declassification of all the Comey / McCabe / Page / Strzok politically driven bias in the extreme embarrassment is Trump's leverage. I wonder how's and when he's going use it.

Comey was the FBI Director. What a fail.

Considering the House will be all new and under different leaders the next time it convenes why is this a surprise? You know House committees and sub-committees aren't going to continue after Clinton.

Someone needs to tell Trump the President has the power to appoint a Special Council.

My guess is after the Mueller investigation report comes out

Graham is wanting the Senate Intelligence Committee chairmanship. If he gets it he has said he going after all this mess.

That (bolded above) is my point exactly. Comey simply assumed the role of the AG to allow Hillary to be cleared without Lynch making that decision or being forced to recuse herself.

You're grasping. How pathetic, pitiful and an all out lie on your part.

BS, SLC. You've lost any credibility you may have had.

The FBI job is to investigate and to present that evidence to the AG

The AG's job is to evaluate the evidence the FBI has found and to decide whether to prosecute or not.

Comey investigated Clinton and THEN did the AG's job and made the decision not to prosecute.

The Inspector General soundly rebuked Comey's action as did Acting AG in his letter to Trump. It led to Comey's firing.

Comey should not have trying to do the AG's job.

So....pretty much the same thing Comey said. Yawn...

Graham has legal experience and he has military experience. It's up to him as to how well he makes use of that experience.

Gowdy was a federal prosecutor and even he wasn't able to break through all the political obstruction of the truth in a congressional over sight committee. I'm not holding my hopes very high.

Congressional over sight is seriously broken, when the search for the truth, on behalf of the best interests of the electorate, the government and the nation, is so obstructed on the alter of party politics.
