House leader: Democrats won't seat candidate in unresolved race

GOP absentee ballot dumping in North Carolina 9th Congressional district.

I agree 110%. Election cheats should not be rewarded.

They should keep the last legally elected representative of that district in place in the mean time so the people of that district are not disenfranchised while we get this fixed.

This goes back to the primary, where the incumbent barely lost, under the same circumstances. Until there’s a new primary, followed by a new general election, the previous representative should hold the seat temporarily.

That said, I agree with the House Leadrship, regardless of party, refusing to seat a new representative under these conditions.

like i said in the other thread, those who stole absentee ballots should be investigated.

FFS, North Carolina really screwed this one up.
