About a year ago, Randy "Duke" Cunningham was convicted of corruption, and now sits in a prison cell, where he belongs. But prosecutors wanted information on others, but could not obtain it, due to stonewalling of Republicans in Congress.

Right after the midterm elections, prosecutors sent quite of few subpoenas to the the House Appropriations, Intelligence, and Armed Services Committees. The idea was that the Democrats would be glad to aid in the arrests and prosecutions of more of Cunningham's network. Seems they were right. From a spokeswoman for Nancy Pelosi:

The House is actively working with the Department of Justice to resolve this issue.

Expect the "Cunningham and Associates" bloodbath to be back in business in the near future. Cunningham was just the tip of the iceberg, and now the whole berg is about to fry. More indictments coming.......

Corruption has no place anywhere. These guys are worse than pedophiles or murderers.

One wonders whether they will include the dishonesty of Reid of nevada for paying his personal expenses out of money donated for his political campaign, somegow I doubt very much that he will be included in the forthcoming bloodbath.

Good to hear, lets hope people don't forget about Jefferson or Mollohan in the rush though.....

They all should. The public should be more aware of this issue and press more strongly for a clean government without such blood suckers.
It doesn't matter of (R) or (D) corruption has no place in government.

From the paucity of those who have or care to pass an opinion on this subject it would tend to lend the idea that the majority of those who post on these blogs, have not the slightest interest in this subject other than to make political points at or near election time.
I find this uncaring attitude to be reprehensible.

These corrupt politicians are effectively stealing from all of us, we should make our voices heard, LOUDLY.

That's because for many they are the simple lap dogs of their favorite radio talk show - needing the talking points from the hosts. Corrruption simply doesn't ring very high because all sides are in on it, can't point to republicans alone cause Democrats are in on it too.
It's always easier to attack someone you don't know or don't care for. Each side only wants to frame the other side as evil.
