Love, love, love this. Now the voters get to see what the Senate does. It's perfect.
 
What are they doing on self-pardons? This bill implies that self-pardon is now allowed, which isn't clear, I'd lean against it being allowed. It seems unlikely to pass the Senate. And it can't override the constitution, so the Supreme Court is going to make the same decision either way.

Corrupt pardons are bad, but it's hard to see this having much effect. Besides the need to allow convicting presidents of a crime at all outside of an impeachment - something Biden should be asked if he'll do - it's almost impossible to prove a pardon corrupt, unless there's proof of a specific exchange for it, like a cashed check saying 'To buy pardon'. Stature of limitation changes, I like.
