WASHINGTON (Reuters) - A U.S. House of Representatives committee will look into a news media report that the FBI investigated whether President Donald Trump has been working on behalf of Russia, against U.S. interests, the panel’s Democratic chairman said on Saturday.

The New York Times reported that the probe began in the days after Trump fired James Comey as FBI director in May 2017 and said the agency’s counterintelligence investigators had to consider whether Trump’s actions constituted a possible threat to national security.

Giving highly classified intel documents to high representatives of an adversary country is more than a threat to national security. It fits the definition of both spy & traitor.

spy
/spī/
noun
1.
a person who secretly collects and reports information on the activities, movements, and plans of an enemy or competitor.

trai·tor
/ˈtrādər/
noun
a person who betrays a friend, country, principle, etc

WASHINGTON — President Trump boasted about highly classified intelligence in a meeting with the Russian foreign minister and ambassador last week, providing details that could expose the source of the information and the manner in which it was collected, a current and a former American government official said Monday.

The intelligence disclosed by Mr. Trump in a meeting with Sergey V. Lavrov, the Russian foreign minister, and Sergey I. Kislyak, the Russian ambassador to the United States, was about an Islamic State plot, according to the officials. A Middle Eastern ally that closely guards its own secrets provided the information, which was considered so sensitive that American officials did not share it widely within the United States government or pass it on to other allies. It’s time for the House to call in the interpreter from the conversation with Putin.

Oh, and the tax returns of course. What’s the holdup on that?

No doubt they'll get around to all of that, but they have their priorities, you know.

Cohen first.

The judge took care of that already, during acceptance of his plea. Told Cohen right to his face that he sold out his country.

If there was anything in the report, it would either be in Mueller's hands pending his investigation report, or it found NOTHING and so it is irrelevant and being reported just for shock value.

As for the allegation the President is a spy/traitor, you and other's forget that the President has ultimate authority to reveal secret information.

Which is exactly what Trump is doing this very moment with this unneeded border wall/government shutdown fiasco. It is almost like Putin ordered this.

I don't find Reuters reporting facts for their shock value. New York Post, yes. Reuters, not.

Wasnt that Flynn, not Cohen?

:doh

TDS in full bloom. :coffeepap:

Reuters merely reported the Democrats were looking into this FBI action.

I was referring to the FBI "investigation" the story reported that they were referring to.

If there was anything in that FBI investigation which the Democrats are "looking into" it would either already be in Mueller's hands OR there was nothing found.

That was Flynn. It's an understandable mistake, seeing as Trump and everybody in his circle sold out our country.

Something about birds of a feather flocking together.

Doesn't matter. The House will still trot him out in front of the people...ask him a bunch of questions (heck, Cohen will probably know all the questions before he even appears)...he'll give them the answers they want. Then he'll start his prison term and get out early on "good behavior".

I dont think hes going to be the great witness liberals are hoping for. Someone simply needs to push him on his "Trump instructed me to break the law" bull**** and hes finished.

They can't subpoena the tax returns, is the hold up.

Not to mention, they don't even want to set that precedent.

And you pull this straight out of your ass? Just a laughably ludicrous bit of bull**** and you know it! ALL democratic presidents for TIME OUT OF MIND, have given tax returns. So yeah, we'll have to see how it pans in court, but your second statement was just fabricated nonsense, though I suppose it's unsurprising, give the questionable source.

He's finished with you right now. He doesn't have to say anything, you've already fully dismissed it, why would you need to even hear it, when you've already decided to reject it? You only need to wait for the alt right political porn sites to give you the talking points and logic pretzels to use here.

Is there any chance you could translate that into English for me? Thanks.
