Maybe it is not much known, but the executing of people who had be seen to have insane thoughts set the precedents for the Holocaust.

It's not widely known. I know it because in the town where a friend of mine lives a few miles from where I live, there is a line of small colorful crosses along the ways from the centre of the town to a place away from the centre. These crosses are small like 4 inches high and 2 inches wide. They have been painted by people from many different countries. There a lot of crosses, one beside the other and every cross stands for one person, who became a victim in this town. The line connects the centre of the town with the room which was the gas chamber.yeah right
that was nothing more than pertinent information
of which i was unaware. I knew they did it, but i did not know it was the predecessor of the barbarism to come

This is ok. The views in Germany about the Middle East differ a lot, it is not that I am kinda representative for a majority view about it, the same is true for other topics, too.Your position against Israel in the "I am Israel" thread. I understand many Germans hold similar views on this subject. I know mostof them do not subscribe to Nazism. I should not have assumed that you also agree with arabs that call for the destruction of Israel. My bad.
