It's not arguing semantics, it's reality. It's in the evil capitalist west that sexual orientation varieties are tolerated. Through much of Asia and Africa, it's criminal, often punishable by imprisonment and death. So, when people ****ing tout the "oh, it's capitalism" bullshit, it sorta deserves a little pushback. Capitalism enhances freedom and capitalist countries protect human and civil rights. The alternatives - the socialist regimes, the theocratic regimes, etc. - they throw gays off buildings and shove them in prison cells.

When a company does business in another country it is subject to that country's laws. Do you want Warner Bros. to stop doing business in China and make less profit?

I would call it Fascist with Chinese characteristics. If Mussolini were alive today and was asked if there was a country which matched his ideal society pursuanto the ideals of his ideology, I think it would be a safe bet that he would declare China to be an ideal fascist state.
