Hitler didn't start with death camps...

Until they come for you.

Then it's not so friggin' hilarious.

You live in a partisan fantasy world bubble. Glad to see those like you speaking for the democrats.....you're doing a fine job.

I sure hope Democrats have a better message headed into the midterms other than Trump is Hitler.
And is a pedophile. And ruined the economy. And crushed rural hospitals. And broke FEMA. And stopped much cancer research. And ran up the price of everything. And didn't end the war. And ran up the debt. And took food from hungry kids. And built a gold ballroom. And tortured innocent people. And fired decent people. And hurt Vets.

Hell, there's TOO much.

The fact that you don't see the irony of your post is telling.

First, they came for the nervous Nellies, ...
Sure, trivialize this as much as you want, but we are heading down a very dangerous (and, to all you so-called "patriots", an profoundly un-American) path.

Dachau was in operation within 2 months of Hitler taking power, and the first deaths in Dachau were a couple of weeks later. So Hitler actually did start with camps.

Also, Trump isn't Hitler.
Nope...

Here's a timeline of how the persecution progressed:
1933: Hitler was appointed Chancellor. Nazi actions initially focused on excluding Jews from German society through discriminatory laws and organized violence, according to the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum. The first concentration camp, Dachau, was established in March 1933, primarily to imprison political opponents, says the St. Louis Kaplan Feldman Holocaust Museum. These early camps, while brutal, were not yet specifically designated as death camps.
Late 1930s: Persecution intensified with events like Kristallnacht, where Jewish businesses and synagogues were destroyed, and thousands of Jewish men were arrested and sent to concentration camps.
1941-1945: The "Final Solution," the systematic mass murder of Jews, was implemented. This involved the establishment of killing centers (often referred to as extermination or death camps) in German-occupied Poland. Examples include Chełmno, Bełżec, Sobibór, Treblinka, Majdanek, and Auschwitz-Birkenau.
Therefore, while the foundation for the horrors of the Holocaust was laid early in Hitler's regime with the establishment of concentration camps and discriminatory policies, the systematic creation and operation of death camps for mass extermination occurred later, primarily during World War II.

The OP said Hitler didn't start with camps. Nothing about 'death camps'.

People were dying in camps within 2-3 months of Hitler coming to power regardless of the official use of the camp.

He was "in power" for years before it turned into systemic murder. So no, you are wrong.

And the US was shipping people to CECOT and now Alligator Alcatraz within months of Trump coming to power

Back in March I had Perplexity make up a table...

(Sorry, the table can be copied into here, with links, and it even looks better than this, and took up less disk space, but I get into the "5000 character limit" with no indication of how many characters so I give up. "Nudging" people to post everything as images without references is one way the internet has made politics the way it is today)

I think you might find ways to fill in two of the Xs now, but the big two are still outstanding. (though I don't know if Josh Shapiro's fire could have counted, if successful)

No the statement in the OP was "Hitler didn't start with camps". The first camp was running 2 months after he came to power

You're moving the goalposts by talking about death camps and systemic murder.

Trump has been President for 4.5 years. Who has been murdered in Alligator Alcatraz?

Look, Trump is a scumbag, but I can't take anyone seriously when they compare him to Hitler, just like when Republicans call Biden or Obama communist.

It took Moritz Flamm about three months of investigation to determine that four prisoners at Dachau had been killed by the guards. When he took action to file the charges, the killings stopped, and the commandant was transferred. But the report went into a locked desk and was only acted on at the Nuremberg trials.

Trump 2.0 has existed for a little over 6 months at this juncture and 2.0 administration is very different from 1.0

While it’s nice that you admit he’s a scumbag, that admission falls short of recognizing the atrocities he is committing.
