There is also the possibility that they are just pushing headlines and this "discovery" is dramatically overstated. Don't count your eggs before they hatch ;D

Its not a possibility. Its a certainty. If I had a penny for every time a drug worked in a specific animal model target and failed spectacularly in humans, I'd be a wealthy man.
