Why are attacks on Christians increasing in India?​


Since the Modi government came into power Hindu nationalists have been succesful in waging hate campaigns against religious minorities, and often the authorities have looked the other way. These stories how minorities are treated in the World's largest Democracy are becoming more and more common. The Modi government of course encourage it, having it's roots in the Hindu nationalist movement. For example India has tried to introduce laws that would abolish marriages between Muslim men and Hindu women, and they have even been succesful in some Indian states.
