Better yet, teach all children respect for authority. When confronted by a police officer, listen to the questions, answer politely. Being a rebellious ass usually comes across as being confrontational, regardless of color.
If you, however, listen to Hillary and instill fear in your children, and a pathological distrust, chances are your children will react inappropriately, regardless of color.
Yes, I have seen quite a few blacks and whites mouthing off, and wondered how the cops kept their cool.
I refuse to listen to anyone who uses the current racial tensions to further their political career.
Ms. Clinton, the first step is teaching kids how to be polite and respectful. Cops, all cops, the white ones, the black ones.....are in fear of their lives for the nonsense you and the current administration is preaching. Anyone in leadership should seek to unify, instead of dividing us further.
What's more, showing our citizenry that you, an old white rich privileged woman is above the law doesn't instill much sense of justice into law abiding citizens, regardless of color.
Where most of us would be fired for being unqualified...to say the least, you expect a promotion.
So, Ms Clinton, shut up and go away, before you make complete mockery of everything that is right.
Completely agree with you.
I was taught, when pulled over by a cop, to turn on the interior lights if it was dark outside. Stay in the car. Keep both hands on the steering wheel, be respectful and follow the cop's instructions to the letter. I'm a white female. My dad had that talk with me when I got my driver's license.
I have the utmost respect for law enforcement. Have never had the slightest problem although ive had a gun pointed at me by a cop at 2 am in the morning and, in a separate incident, been asked to exit my car and put my hands on the hood. No harm no foul.
