No impeachment was conducted based upon false information. The information was set forth and clear, even if the Senate denied the hearing of witnesses. After hearing all of the evidence (and they refused to hear most of it), there was a majority vote to convict Trump in both impeachment. That said, neither impeachment had ANYTHING whatsoever to do with the topic at hand.
