Some of the topics included in the emails leaked from the DNC:

  • DNC Hillary supporters infiltrated Sanders campaign, mole in Sanders campaign
  • DNC discussing Hillary’s policies as unfeasible
  • Faking outrage and pasting in a video later.
  • Bringing up Sanders' religion to scare the southern voters
  • Politico writer sending his stories to the DNC before he sends them to his editor.
  • DNC feeding CNN the questions they want to be asked in interviews.
  • Creating a fake job ad for a Trump business to paint him as a sexist.
  • DNC is upset that their “allies” didn’t send in protestors so they sent out interns
  • “Clinton Foundation quid-pro-quo worries are lingering, will be exploited in general.”
  • Re: BuzzFeed and DNC connection.
  • Press talking points, states Hillary is their candidate
  • DNC conspires to violate the Hatch Act
  • DNC wants Obama Administration to tone down immigration raids leading up to the DNC Convention.

Among other things.

Collusion with a supposedly independent press, Astroturfing, conspiring to break election laws, manipulating federal policy for the benefit of the DNC, fake videos and news reports. It's all just politics, part of the game. Am I right, Hillary supporters?

Strictly speaking. Waa any of it illegal?

I'm pretty sure conspiring to violate the Hatch Act is illegal. Federal ethics rules forbid modifying policies such as law enforcement as political favors. Penalties against those who violate those rule can include criminal charges.

Exactly.

I see this as dirty politics (perhaps deserving of anger by those niave Dem rank & file that would like to believe their party establishment is clean, transparent, and honest).

It's also the reason I have not been a member of a political party for many years!

And you think these rules were criminally broken in the strict sense of the meaning?

Good God. Currently, this chicken head from NY is telling everyone to vote for the Hildabeast because of her "values."

....so a vote for her is a vote for under-the-table deals. It's a vote for crooked politics. It's a vote for back office meetings designed to snub out opposition.

Speaking of illegality, it wasn't a leak of emails, it was theft.

Exposing corruption is a good thing.

The Clinton Machine described perfectly.

what bothers me is the line coming from the Dem naysayers about this... the ones that say its nothing. man there hardly any shame even when it is PROVEN that their party has rigged the system.

it's pretty damn sad that they are able to.... I guess teach... them that Republicans are so vile , that they will cover over anything to win.

True. Unfortunately for those exposed, I don't think it's possible to get the evidence thrown out in court.

What's interesting is to view the action/reaction the confirmation the Democratic Party is just a status quo, Washington Elite club who only gives a gentle nod to the nuisance called voters.

Who would have thought a meme involving Putin and Trump would be regurgitated out of the Clinton Machine as part of this action/reaction response? That will be one for the history books.

A violation of the Hatch Act could result in administrative sanctions rather than criminal charges. It's probably only egregious violations that result in criminal charges. Same with federal rules on conflict of interest.

But, as we've seen, even flagrant, knowing, egregious violations that actually put the country in danger may not result in criminal charges depending on who the perpetrator is. It's like for some people criminal law doesn't even exist.

(Saying "she wasn't charged with a crime" isn't much of defense when the government is so completely corrupt.)

That is becoming the main problem for the political elite and our courts.
