Carried by a new high in personal popularity and broad approval of her work as secretary of state, Hillary Clinton closes out her diplomatic career with majority support as a candidate for president in 2016.
Fifty-seven percent in the latest ABC News/Washington Post poll say they’d back a run by Clinton to succeed Barack Obama, vs. 37 percent opposed. That includes a broad gender gap – 66 percent support for Clinton among women, dropping to 49 percent among men.
I do think she will run if Obama does not appoint her to the Supreme Court, which would not shock me, to replace Ginsberg. Beyond that, I think she would have a hard time in the general election. Whether or not I would vote for her would depend on who was running against her.
Um, what? That's crazy.
Think about his most recent appointee and decide how crazy it is.....
Hillary is not a lawyer, and has no law background, she's not going to be on the SCOTUS, period.
LOL are you sure about that? everybody else seems to think she went to Yale law school.
Hillary Rodham Clinton - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
A native of Illinois, Hillary Rodham first attracted national attention in 1969 for her remarks as the first student commencement speaker at Wellesley College. She embarked on a career in law after receiving her J.D. from Yale Law School in 1973. Following a stint as a Congressional legal counsel, she moved to Arkansas in 1974 and married Bill Clinton in 1975. Rodham cofounded the Arkansas Advocates for Children and Families in 1977 and became the first female chair of the Legal Services Corporation in 1978. Named the first female partner at Rose Law Firm in 1979, she was twice listed as one of the 100 most influential lawyers in America. As First Lady of Arkansas from 1979 to 1981 and 1983 to 1992 with husband Bill as governor, she successfully led a task force to reform Arkansas's education system. During that time, she was a member of the board of directors of Wal-Mart Stores and several other corporations.
Well my bad, I had no idea about that.
Still don't think she'll be named to the SCOTUS though.
Her butt is too big and she wears horrible looking pant suits. She looks like one of those things parakeets peck and they fall over and pop right back up. It would be fun to see Monica back in the news though. The GOP would put Monica forefront to make Hillary mad. Maybe even Paula Jones, Jennifer Flowers, etc., etc. Yeah OK, good idea loons, run Hillary. Certainly Bill would like to see the old girl run because that gives him more time to pursue his extracurricular activities. She could have Margaret Cho as her running mate.

So, I have 2 questions here. Do you think she will run in 2016, and would you vote for her if she does run?

that's not going to help her campaign... she was a member of the board of directors of Wal-Mart Stores

So you think it was Hillary and not Bill who was the sex maniac and had affairs with Jennifer and Monica? LOL.
Seriously, though, there is a lot of sympathy for Hillary over what Bill did to her, and if the GOP even attempts in the slightest to bring it up to attack Hillary with, the backlash will be so bad that the Libertarian Party might end up getting more votes than the GOP in the next election. LOL.
I don't see her husband's affairs having much influence one way or the other.
I think she'll kick the tires on a Presidential run but doubt that car will go anywhere. Pres. Obama deftly sent her to political exile. She's been completely out of the national conversation despite holding a major position in the administration, so I have a difficult time believing four years of her being completely gone will do her any favors politically. Here age doesn't do her any favors either.
