Businesses are now establishing specific policies to keep workers under 29 hours.
That's brand new because full time used to be 40 hours and now it's 30.

I believe 37 hours has been the norm for full time hourly workers. The number of part time workers peaked in 2009 and was the result of the Great Bush Recession. The number has been trending down since then.
