Hillary Clinton has mounted two failed bids for President so far, in 2008 and in 2016. But now, sources close to her say she is in the process of forming an exploratory committee for a third presidential bid in 2024. While the current understanding is that she would only run if President Biden does not, these sources cautioned that the scope of a third run is still fluid and would not rule out her mounting a progressive primary challenge to Biden.

In a statement to CNN, an Aide stated that Clinton planned to turn away attacks on the fact that she would be 77 on Election Day 2024 by pointing to the fact that Biden will be 81 on Election Day 2024, and 82 on Inauguration Day 2025, and that likely GOP nominee Donald Trump will be 78 on Election Day 2024. Clinton plans to turn away attacks on the fact that the country has already rejected her twice by pointing to the supposed sexism of both electorates and a series of unfair attacks that she will be better prepared to counteract in 2024. She also is going to reportedly put much of the blame on a number of her 2016 campaign staffers, many of which she plans to replace for the 2024 campaign.

(...)

More information, including a formal FEC filing for the exploratory committee and how Americans can contribute to it, is expected to be available on Monday, April 4.

Ughhh. Not a good idea. She is way too old and polarizing.

For the love of god just please give me a debate between her and Trump. Even if it’s just for fun and neither are running.

:LOL::LOL::ROFLMAO:

That means she's running. It's official-almost-official.

Has to be a joke

Please, no!

Does Hillary need an even larger bull’s eye on her back?
Ambition or masochism?

Every Hillary does now is about selling her next book, or getting gigs for big $$$ speaking engagements.

The precedent (since Richard Nixon) has been that if you lose a general presidential election, you don't run again. I think that's a good precedent.

I like Hillary Clinton, but it's hard for me to see how anything has substantively changed since 2016 that would make her more likely to win in 2024. Especially if she is running against literally anyone other than Donald Trump.

I hope this is an april fools joke. We need younger people.

Where are the next generations of leaders? This country has been in the hands of septuagenarians for too long. They all suck.

And they tell us that Oligarchs are just a Russian thing? Really?

Not surprising at all. Running for president has been very profitable for her. Run for office. Get donations. Write a book. Get paid for speeches.

Not to mention, she has a possibility of becoming a candidate again. Democrats have a huge issue with their presidential bench for a string of elections. If Biden doesn't run (and he's not doing well) they have no backup. Harris is universally disliked. After that, it's largely crickets. The entire potential field is 70+

Hopefully the DNC isn't really that stupid.

Guys like you don’t care about anyone’s net worth.

I never bothered you that every GOP candidate in this century inherited his money.

But you throw your money at a fake billionaire!

The worst thing this nation needs right now, aside from Trump having another go at it, is Hillary having another go at it.

It is as if we are recycling the worst of society and expecting a better outcome. Insanity.

Grifters gonna grift.

I’d say we deserve better, and we should, but we’ve proven that we don’t.
