Hillary Clinton clinches Democratic presidential nomination

Its spineless to rail against a system that you end up endorsing after taking millions of dollars from working class people.

So he should have told his supporters to hand the election to a candidate that agrees with him on maybe 10% of the issues over a candidate that agrees with him on 80% of the issues. How dare he tell his supporters they should vote their self interest...

He's choosing the devil he knows. What does that say about the devil we don't know?

Not much, actually. Just that Bernie Sanders dislikes him intensely, which is unsurprising considering his ideology.

Yes, oh the cowardliness of losing the Democratic Primary by nearly 4 million votes and then the nerve of admitting you lost and its in the best interest of your supporters to support the candidate in the race whose views are closest to yours....

His entire campaign was based on running against the corruption of the two party system. The same system that it turns out rigged the election against him. The same person who he said was not qualified to be president. The same party who he said was corrupt and ran by Wall Street. Spineless, or a part of the system himself.

Yes people keep saying this stupid stuff, while ignoring the fact that the DNC had their hands on the scales, in her direction.
Forgetting that an unbiased DNC could of led to completely different results.

I saw someone else state this and it frames the situation well.
"I'm not scared that there's corruption, I'm scared that people are willing to accept it."

He should have told them to vote for Jill Stein or someone like that if he was trying to find someone that agrees with him.

So throw away their votes and thus ensure that Trump gets elected, and then he gets to appoint 3 Scalia clones to SCOTUS, and thus even if the most liberal presidents and congresses in this nation's history get elected for 20 years straight, nothing will get done because it will all get struck down by SCOTUS. Yeah thats wonderful advice. He would really be thinking of the working people supporting him by telling them to do that. ;)

The DNC did not force 4 million more people to vote for her than for Bernie. Come the hell on. Back in 2008 Hillary actually won more votes nationwide in the primaries than Obama and yet she accepted the result even though the only reason for it was he was able to flip the superdelegates, and still endorsed him.

Are you that naive or are you playing coy?
No one "forced" anything of course, they just seemed to tilt the scales towards Hillary's campaign.
Which can ultimately effect end voter results.

Their behavior was unacceptable, totally.
I guess enough people are willing to bend over and take it with them.
Pathetic.

Bernie knows how it works.

Practice saying Senate Majority Leader Sanders.

You'll find a use for it next year.

That Sanders gave up his values and his common sense to support someone that probably cheated to win against him.

He figures he will be less irrelevant if the lying bitch is in office vs Trumpster. If Trump is president and the GOP keeps control of the senate, Bernie is going to be the most irrelevant senator in the USA

Dude its their party. You don't think officials in political party's have preferences on who their candidate should be in the general?

Sure it's their party and their party has rules.
Their rules state that the Chair is supposed to be neutral, it's section 5.4 of the DNC charter.

If they didn't want to play fair and didn't want him to have a chance to win, they shouldn't of let him run.
Back tracking and excuse making doesn't fix this.

Lulz. That's just crazy talk. Are you drunk? The Democratic Establishment that didn't even bother to explicitly express opposition to the TPP is gonna put Sanders in charge of the Senate? That's just ridiculous.

Hillary stands for herself and nothing else. You don't tell supporters to vote for someone that cares about nothing but themselves. Instead you tell them to go where their views will likely be respected and heard for what they are.

Also, Trump is a liberal, so you don't need to worry about Scalia clones.

There is an up side to a Trump presidency, and that is it will be only 1 term. The Republicans have enough opposition to Trump that there will be a challenger for 2020 in the party. Plus whomever the DNC puts up (excluding Hillary).

Under a Hillary presidency there would be no party challenger increasing the chances of 8 years of lies and scandals.

Dems could have some serious contenders with Nina Turner and Tulsi Gabbard.

It's official. Hillary Clinton is the official nominee, but the big story for me is Bernie Sanders standing up and releasing all his delegates and asking them to vote for his opponent.

Whatever you think of Bernie Sanders, he is a classy guy.

Article is here.

I always knew that.

They're uniting behind someone that got away with breaking the law.

What law did she break? She was found careless but the FBI did not find any laws she broke. You can repeat that as many times as you want but it doesn't make it true.

You do know that many of the hot button issues like free speech verse terrorist on the internet, gun controll, and governments collection of data both Trump and Hillary hold vitualy the same positions. It would stand to reason they would choose judges of like minded opinions. But that isn't as showy as the doom and gloom fear mongering of 20 years of darkness.

Bernie is a loser and that's what losers do .

If what he accomplished against all odds with no one in the media giving him a snowball's chance in hell in beginning and basically ignoring him, and without the backing of big money, than I want to be a loser.

True. They believe in all the same things as everyday socialists, but instead of being ballsy like socialists of the pasts they're ******s that have to take baby steps.

So you're giving up you social security when you're eligible and would abolish it for all the elderly?

So you're giving up you social security when you're eligible and would abolish it for all the elderly?

I have said before that I have no interest in getting it.

Btw, forcing me to pay into something and then expecting me to not want a return is a bit screwballish.

More like he's a spineless guy.

lemme guess, you are hoping against hope that the Dems have as much chaos as the Pubs have in their camp. I don't see Bernie wanting to divide the Dems and give Trump even a ghost of a chance of winning.

Compared to the dozens of Pub politicians who chose not to attend the crowning of baron Trump, oh wait, that's the Donald's latest son- the dems are getting along and see a common enemy. Trump will bind the Dems together like no other factor.

Bernie isn't spineless- he is very clear eyed and sees the Donald as the real enemy of progressives... :peace
