Why didnt they head south to Venezuela?? They could have taken a few dogs with them so they could have something to eat!!!!!

You’re assuming Venezuela actually is socialist - if we can even agree on what the term means. You’re then assuming it’s a well run socialist country and that it’s problems are a result of it being socialist.

Socialism has always been about ideals. Political ideals...political morals. People's needs aren't asked with socialism. What's best for a situation isn't asked with socialism.

Political ideals are asked for. That walls not be constructed for border security (not sure if that's a socialism moral or Trump resist (probably both)). That borders remain open. The socialism ideal in play, there, is those who don't have should benefit from those who have. BTW if you believe some don't have, you have to believe they come from ****hole countries, so, the crime with the ***hole utterance is not the thinking of it but the utterance of it. That leads to another trait of socialism: gov't control of thoughts and words, for example. Hate crimes is socialism.

Capitalism is the economic opposite of socialism. Most countries have varying degrees of capitalism and socialism in their economies but the US is more capitalist than socialist. In the EU, countries are more socialist than capitalist. How much capitalism is in Venezuela's socialist economy? Less than countries of the EU. Therefore, we can conclude Venezuela has very little capitalism in its economy. I don't think there is an economy in the world that is pure capitalist (IMO, closest would be Russia, for example) nor pure socialist (IMO, closest would be Venezuela, for example).

The reason I say libs is very true and reasonable. There must still be old time democrats that supported Truman and JFK in the party. They are loyal Americans. Sadly the party has been hijacked by the radical left libs. Hence libs.
