Hey kids, It's Dowdy Doody Time!

Horse manure.

The whole theatre, as you put it, is an attempt to undermine the Mueller investigation, because certain republicans cannot stand the fact that the man they put into office is the subject and possible target of an FBI criminal investigation.

They don't even question why he is the subject and possible target, they assume that the only motivation is partisan politics, which makes no sense because Rosenstein, Sessions, both Trump appointees, and Mueller, are republicans, plus the fact that they believe the FBI is biased, when it was the FBI who revealed Clinton was under investigation, and withheld the fact that Trump was under investigation, all before the election, and on top of it Comey's letter all tend to dispell the notion that they are out to get Trump. If anything, it was the opposite.

A certain faction within the GOP are out to undermine the investigation, an investigation founded on probable cause with the purpose of either clearing the air for Trump, or finding misdeeds, if such exists, let the chips fall where they may, but it was necessary given the plethora of russian contacts and innuendo surrounding the election that simply must be dealt with, and that is the fact of the matter. The only argument, is whether their should have been a special counsel, or some other fact finding method. Well, there was the House intell committee, which turned out to be a sham because of Of Trump waterboy Nunes, and the Senate Judiciary committee whose findings are not in conflict with that of Mueller. The Mueller investigation is necessary because of the of the evidence of criminal activity which must be dealt with.
