Hey Fox News, Stop Using Children As Political Props


What people are failing to see here is that this is akin to a political warzone, and many people no matter their agenda, or their political stance. Will most likely take whatever action they believe necessary to get their message proven.

In this case Fox & CNN are both on equal footing at this point. I remember reading this one from way back during the election.

Yes, free speech. There's also media responsibility, and FOX has proven time and again that they are the most biased MSM in history. Remember the creation, promotion, and provision of keynote speakers for Tea Party functions...

 

I don't see the problem. At its inception the Tea Party was non-partisan.

And how do you know those 20% of Dems didn't 'support' the Tea Party because it was causing a rift in the GOP?
 

I used to live in a 100 year old house in South Carolina. When I was cleaning out the attic, I came across some old textbooks. The social studies book from the '40s was especially interesting. It explained that there were different races of people and that the white race was the best and most numerous. Those schools might have been patriotic but some of them were racist, and taught nonsense, possibly thinking it was patriotic.
 

You know what's funny? Those far-right ultra-conservatives named themselves after a violent action of protest and civil disobedience by a group of liberals.

Yeah, that's what it was all about. "No taxation without representation." Doesn't exactly roll off the tongue, but the way we were taught American history it was the trigger that set events on the road to the revolution. After the Tea Party, sides were chosen and lines drawn.

Very interesting & very true. I graduated from a then very southern college in Virginia in 1966. I came from Jersey
& was surprised when the band was practicing 'Dixie' & I was studying in the library many students there forgot
about studying & stood to attention while they played that song. I played football & most of my good friends on the team
joined Kappa Alpha. I was discriminated against because to pledge KA you had to be from the south. The few
ballplayers from the north along with myself pledged Sigma Nu. The whole culture however suited me just fine.
