Herman Cain, who ran unsuccessfully for the GOP presidential nomination in 2012, told a gathering of conservative activists in Washington, D.C., on Saturday that they shouldn’t wait until 2016 to “take our country back”.
“This train is running full speed down the tracks towards socialism and towards communism,” he told the Faith and Freedom Coalition. “Yes, I said it. Before we stop it and reverse it, we got to slow it down. That’s what we do in 2014.”

Supposedly somehow in fantasy land amongst the right we are turning into a "socialist" country, then apparently we are going to become a stateless, classless society... This people are ****ing insane. :screwy

The kookiness of the tea party never ceases to amaze.

There are in a totally alternate universe.

Herman Cain wouldn't know a Socialist if he took him from behind and gave him a reach-around.

"Headed towards?"

"Headed towards?"

Did you receive your "land expropriation" letter in the mail yet?

I failed to get mine. It must be coming via Presidential SMS message.

;)

We are turning socialistic, there for, socialist. Communist however, I don't think he was using Marx's definition of Communism, but was referring to the totalitarian socialist states like the Soviet Union, China, NK, Cuba, etc. So, he may be inaccurate by using the term "communism", however he is totally accurate on socialism and totalitarian socialism. Not to see that is "****ing insane".

It's not that hard, just check the rolls of the DNC and they become very easy to find. The hide under names like "Liberal" and "progressive" but only the left actually believes this hides them from intelligent people.

So, is he insane because he thinks that socialism leads to becoming a stateless, classless society or because he says it is happening here?

No, is insane because he thinks that is where we are heading.

So when the GOP had the presidency, house and congress they got rid of all those socialist polcies you are railing about right? Oh wait, they didn't.

They did? Which ones?

Did they end welfare and the redistribution of wealth? No
Did they pass "right to work" laws for the whole country? No
Did they remove legislation targeted towards the government controlling business? Maybe a few, but not many.
Did they remove social security? No
Did they remove Medicare? No

What exactly did they remove that has any thing to do with government control and social engineering?

Why do you believe that the GOP is actually against most socialistic policies? Are they against them or do they want Corporations/Corporatism to have that power instead of the government?

Uh reread my quote please.

No, is insane because he thinks that is where we are heading.

So we do not have the government trying to take over the healthcare industry?
We do not have legislation that authorizes the government to seize control of companies that it deems a "danger" to the economy if they fail?
The government is not involved in trying to control industry?
We do not have greater and greater numbers of people yelling for the government to take away from the rich and give to them?
We do not have more and more laws giving government control of various aspects of our daily lives? Telling us what we can and cannot do even though it affects no one but us? We are not seeing laws telling us what we can eat? What we can drink? Whether we can smoke or not? That we have to wear a seat belt? etc, etc.

It's never too early to engage in fear mongering.
Heading? We are already there... Obama phones, ObamaCare, what do you think these are?
The brain-children of Republicans.

I don't care who started them, what do you think they are?
Helpful to those who need it?

The point was both of those you mentioned originated with Republicans, and unless I missed something somewhere, Herman Cain is a Republican. Thus, at least using your examples, Herman Cain is complaining about the stuff his party has done, and yet is using it to attack Democrats in an attempt to stir up fear based upon the historical failures of communism and the evil of the men associated with it.

Make sense?

No, Obama pushes these things to another level.
