I feel bad for @TobyOne. Can you imagine what it must be like to go through life prohibited from making any criticism of Donald and his children? He can do whatever the hell he wants to Toby and he just has to grin and bear it. I think that kind of cuckolding is sad, but he chose it so… shrug.

Yeah I never buy the unified party that both parties want to present it's more like beyond thunderdome behind closed doors. Sometimes the mask slips when you have a bunch of power hungry people willing to do what it takes to get to the position they covet it's not odd to find people that will give you the Brutus treatment.
 
The animosity between the Biden camp and Harris camp was well known. But I don't think anyone realized what a bitch Kamala was. Burn those bridges Kamala. Have another martini.

Also self-criticism, but Politico seems not to mention any self-reflection or criticism of Harris' own strategy in her memoir. (For comparison they did note Clinton's self-criticism in her memoir.) Does Harris believe that backing away from many of her previous progressive positions, cosying up with the Cheneys and presenting herself as Republican-lite was an effective or even a sound political strategy, for example? What about her equivocal stance on the Gaza genocide? Or with the benefit of hindsight would she conclude that (among other more obvious and likely more impactful hurdles) she became too widely perceived as wishy-washy or spineless, garnering little appeal among pseudo-centrists and sane conservatives while losing too much enthusiasm among liberals and leftists? One of the the best things a prominent unsuccessful political candidate could do would be trying to extend the opportunity for others to learn from her mistakes - bit of a shame if Harris didn't do that!
