He yelled ‘Get out of my country,’ witnesses say, and then shot 2 men from India, killing one
By Mark Berman and Samantha Schmidt February 24 at 3:43 PM
Authorities in Kansas filed first-degree murder charges against a man accused of opening fire in a bar there, killing one Indian man, injuring two other people and causing fears about bigotry to reverberate across the globe.
According to witness accounts, the gunman reportedly told two of the people who were shot — both Indian men who work for Garmin, the technology firm — to “get out of my country” before opening fire and had also used racial slurs during the Wednesday evening shooting.....

US isn’t a safe place, don’t send your children there: Father of Indian engineer injured in Kansas shooting

The father of an Indian man who was shot and injured in a Kansas City bar believes the United States isn’t a safe place after the election of President Donald Trump, and has said parents should not send their children to the country.
Madasani Alok Reddy, 32, was recovering from his wounds after being shot by a former US Navy veteran, an attack eyewitnesses said could be racially motivated. Alok’s 32-year-old friend, Srinivas Kuchibhotla, was killed in the Austins Bar and Grill in Olathe......

Trump’s silence about two Indians shot in Kansas speaks volumes.Donald Trump has not done much as president, but he has done this: He’s sent a clear signal to the country about who is worthy of empathy and concern—and protection—and who is not; about who deserves your outrage and indignation, and who doesn’t. Trump’s double standard is just another of the many ways he has told the American public that the lives and safety of immigrants and Muslims just don’t matter all that much.

Interesting news, didn't see it posted, thought I'd share.
Any thoughts or comments ?
I really don't expect the President to immediately respond to every hate crime that happens in the entire U.S. There were some hate crimes near where I live over the past few years, that was big news locally, but the President at the time didn't respond to those either.
And to clarify, I didn't expect a response either.
I think it's terrible and sad. Wackos are going to take whatever message they think they get and act on it. Fanatics scare me.
Remember Trumps messages about second amendment solutions and Hillary? They found a home with this guy.
Trump was serious. He put that message out there in the knowledge that it could well find a willing agent out there somewhere, while maintaining plausible deniability.
Thank you for your opinion. Unless he actually said that is what he meant when he said it, it is impossible for you to know that.

It sure is funny-sad watching lefties trot out the "silence is consent" argument when they vehemently go the other way with sex law.
Yes it would be nice if we didn't have any crazy's among our population but, sadly, we do. I think we need to reopen some asylums and get back to putting these folks in them before they do damage.

Do you honestly think that had a man of Arab decent shot three white men while yelling Allah Akbar, Trump would be silent about it?
MALMO, SWEDEN October, 2016
TARGET: No casualties; mosque and community center attacked with Molotov cocktail
ATTACKER: Syrian national
A Malmo court charged a man with arson but said it was not a terrorism offence.
On 22 October 2015, 21-year-old Anton Lundin Pettersson attacked Kronan School in Trollhättan, Sweden, with a sword. He killed a teaching assistant and a male student, stabbed another male student and a teacher, and died later of the gunshot wounds he received during his apprehension.[1][2] The second teacher who was wounded died in hospital six weeks after the attack, on December 3.
The attack was Sweden's first deadly attack on a school since the 1961 Kungälv school shooting when one person was killed and six injured.[2] It is the deadliest attack on a school in Swedish history.[2] The initial police investigation concluded that Pettersson was motivated by racism and had chosen the school as his target due to its location in a neighbourhood with a high immigrant population.[3]

If he didn't do it intentionally, then he was reckless in the extreme.
The more I read about these senseless shootings, the more I realize our country fails those few of us whose mental health has slipped beneath the waves. We should and could do much better. Why DID we close mental health hospitals? Today, more than ever, we need them. And we need easier procedures in place so that family and friends can step in and get people the help the need.
