The Vice-President of the Republic, Hassabo Mohammed Abdul Rahman chaired, Wednesday, at the Republican Palace, the meeting concerning the Peaceful Co-existence on Sudanese-Chadian Borders scheduled to be held in Gineina, capital of West Darfur State during next July.
The Governor of West Darfur State, Khalil Abdallah said in a press statement that the meeting discussed the requested arrangements for holding the conference which will be attended by Darfur Border States and Ministers of Defence, Interior, Foreign Affairs and Federal Government.
The conference aims at strengthening peaceful co-existences among the Sudanese-Chadian border communities, security, trade and cultural relations.
Concerning the collection of arms, in West Darfur, the Governor pointed out that the state waits for the directives of the Presidency in this connection.
