Liberals are not destroying our country but we are trying to destroy the power structure to give everyone equal treatment and an opportunity to have a better life. This movement has been going on since our founding, an honest attempt by our ancestors to actually live up to the ideals set forth in our founding documents. Whether these agents of change are liberals or conservatives at any given point in time is immaterial. The arc of justice keeps moving along with the help of good people across the ages who see injustice and want to eliminate it. Trump represents the idea that we were a better nation when white people were in charge of everything. Everyone knew their place, everyone obeyed the laws created by white people to maintain that power structure and if only we could go back in time, we would be great again. What we are seeing with the reactions by police unions is a refusal to give up their power not acknowledgement that there is a problem at all. I think you derailed your own thread by stating as fact that Trump is a racist. I know that's what you believe but keep in mind that a huge percentage of our population are either unsure about that or don't believe it's true. If you post your own unnecessarily controversial opinion in the OP, your setting the tone of the entire thread and you're going to get mostly heated reactionary responses. I say these things, but keep in mind that I myself believe that he's either racist, or is trying to appeal to a racist segment of his base in order to win their vote and an election.
