Has Barr turned the DOJ into part of the Trump re-election campaign machine?

We went through how many investigations of the Clinton emails before and during the 2016 to now find out that it was as many Gopers say, a nothing burger. So I suspect that using such techniques to get information from other countries, they will come up with some dirt, whether it is real or not. I do not think in my life, and I am in my mid 70"s, I have ever seen a president use a DOJ for this purpose. Many dictators such as Putin and Erdogan have done things like this, but not a president of the USA.

John Durham that Director Barr appointed has many years in investigating corruption in our government. He has gone after dirty Republicans as well as dirty Democrats. When it was reported that Durham was expanding his investigation into wrongdoing he requested more funds and more people to assist in the investigation. In other words Durham has uncovered a lot of there there. It is also being reported that Durham wants to talk to Brennan and Clapper.

Right now there's a good number of the good ole boys/gals that sold/betrayed their trust the American people put into them for political power are now sweating bullets.

You know all of this is tied to the delay of the Horowitz report that was promised in June and now it is coming to the end of October and yet we are still waiting.

When A.G. Barr stated he believed there was evidence that the Trump campaign was being spied on by the Obama administration that was all in for Hillary Clinton.

At that point when Barr made it very clear after a two year investigation that Mueller found no evidence that Trump, his family or anyone associated with his campaign or anyone in his administration was colluding with Russians and was wanting at that point what initiated a counterintelligence investigation on Trump, his campaign, his family, his transition team, ad for months after he was president. He wanted to know how did that happen!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!\

After Barr made those public statements Horowitz, an Obama appointee was overwhelmed with people who did not want to cooperate with his investigation prior now wanting to cooperate and when they did cooperate, Horowitz had to follow those leads. Now there is a fight going on what can be made public. And not only that the report itself is hundreds of pages long. If there was no there there, the report would not have been hundreds of pages long.


The wheels of justice grind oh so slow but ultimately the best case possible is made to convict the wrongdoers.

Oh its worse than Barr turning DOJ into a Trumpkin campaign arm. We are now looking at the complete corruption of DOJ and the State Dept. Frankly the complete corruption of the DOJ is scarier just because of the degree that Barr can control DOJ. Pompeo has really dug a hole for himself at State and he has ambitions for holding public office again that are going down the drain at the moment.

Barr and Durham as it turns out are not just running around the world "investigating" the 2016 election. They are actively investigating the Bidens and 2020. So there you have it folks. Authoritarianism at its best or worst depending on your perspective. We have DOJ actively investigating political adversaries of the current President, a potential candidate in 2020 for the very office he holds.

Well there is one silver lining. The Trumpettes can now wait with baited breath for what Durham and Barr come up with till hell freezes over. Barr and Durham have already debauched their own investigation. Does not matter what trash they flesh up at this point. It will have to be viewed though the lens of an entirely corrupted process.
