According to a study in the Harvard Journal of Law & Public Policy, which cites the Centers for Disease Control, the U.S. National Academy of Sciences and the United Nations International Study on Firearms Regulation, the more guns a nation has, the less criminal activity.-https://www.beliefnet.com/news/articles/harvard-university-study-reveals-astonishing-link.aspx?fbclid=IwAR0VVseTD4nMjy0Ze33UUkPpq6UxAgeOqKv40blXiYUKLNvdYzrOkrtPK_k#7KvXGhAe8IpSLu2s.01

This is common sense to me, so spout off.

The "Harvard Law Review," by the way, is not actually put out by Harvard. It's the house journal of the Federalist Society, which is a conservative think tank/lobbying entity that tries to push the courts to the right. Mauser was a psych prof at Simon Fraser University (whatever that is), and Kates (RIP) was a lawyer. Both were gun rights advocates, neither had any actual affiliation with Harvard. That's just the tiniest bit of the problems with the original "article."

Any port in a storm....

This report was published in the Harvard Journal of Law and Public Policy, not the Harvard Law Review. The HJLPP is a "A Student-Run Publication At Harvard Law School. The Harvard Law School’s name and/or shield are trademarks of the President and Fellows of Harvard College and are used by permission of Harvard University."

Harvard Journal of Law & Public Policy – The nation?s leading forum for conservative and libertarian legal scholarship

The Harvard Law Review is also a student run organization:

"The Harvard Law Review is a student-run organization whose primary purpose is to publish a journal of legal scholarship. The Review comes out monthly from November through June and has roughly 2,500 pages per volume. The organization is formally independent of the Harvard Law School. "

"Membership in the Harvard Law Review is limited to second- and third-year law students who are selected after an annual writing competition."

One notable former president of the student run Harvard Law Review was Barack Obama, who went on to bigger and better things. I don't think he was supported by the Federalist Society. It seems that the house publication for the Federalist Society is the Federalist Society Review.

Visbeck didn't know the difference between the Harvard Law Review and the other journal.
